Kohl's Appoints Elliott Rodgers as COO
Kohl's announced that Elliott Rodgers has been named Kohl's (KSS) COO, reporting to CEO Michael Bender. In this role, Rodgers will be responsible for Kohl's enterprise operations, including its nearly 1,200 stores, global supply chain and distribution centers, procurement, and loss prevention. He will assume the role on September 9. Most recently, Rodgers was COO at Foot Locker (FL).
DoorDash Partners with Foot Locker for Retail Collaboration
DoorDash (DASH) and Foot Locker (FL) announced a new retail partnership, bringing leading athletic footwear and apparel brands - Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, and Champs Sports - to the DoorDash Marketplace. Through this partnership, consumers can now shop a wide assortment of sneakers, apparel, and accessories for on-demand delivery directly through DoorDash.
Dick's Sporting Goods Finalizes Purchase of Foot Locker
DICK'S Sporting Goods (DKS) announced that it has completed its acquisition of Foot Locker (FL). As a combined company, DICK'S will now operate more than 3,200 stores plus e-commerce and digital businesses across 20 countries in North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia, plus a licensed store presence in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. DICK'S will continue to operate Foot Locker's portfolio of brands, including Foot Locker, Kids Foot Locker, Champs Sports, WSS, and atmos, under a new leadership team. DICK'S Executive Chairman, Ed Stack, will lead the global Foot Locker businesses, in partnership with two new presidents, one for North America and one for International, to enable acceleration of business momentum and targeted turnaround strategies. Ann Freeman, a longtime former Nike executive, has been appointed President of Foot Locker North America. DICK'S will appoint a President of Foot Locker International to lead other regions.

United Parks & Resorts to be added to S&P SmallCap 600, while Technip will enter S&P MidCap 400
S&P Dow Jones Indices will make the following changes to the S&P MidCap 400 and S&P SmallCap 600: United Parks & Resorts (PRKS) will replace Foot Locker (FL) in the S&P SmallCap 600 effective prior to the opening of trading on Monday, September 8. S&P MidCap 400 constituent Dick's Sporting (DKS) is acquiring Foot Locker in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final closing conditions. TechnipFMC (FTI) will replace Skechers (SKX) in the S&P MidCap 400 effective prior to the opening of trading on Friday, September 12. 3G Capital is acquiring Skechers USA in a deal expected to be completed soon, pending final conditions.
