With the Descartes solution, K&R can standardize high-volume ecommerce air shipment data and automate hundreds of thousands of regulatory submissions per month, helping the company manage tight air cargo security processing windows and maintain responsive customer service as volumes grow.

Tai provides an AI-powered transportation management platform that serves as the system of action for freight brokers, orchestrating the entire shipment lifecycle across truckload, less-than-truckload, drayage, and cross-border operations. Tai is headquartered in California. Descartes acquired Tai Software for approximately $100M, satisfied from cash on hand.
Descartes Acquires Drivin for Approximately $30 Million
Descartes Systems announced the acquisition of Drivin. Drivin is headquartered in Santiago, Chile. Descartes acquired Drivin for up-front consideration of approximately $30M satisfied with cash on hand, plus potential performance-based consideration. The maximum amount payable under the all-cash performance-based earn-out is $5M, based on the combined business achieving revenue-based targets in the first two years post-acquisition. Any earn-out is expected to be paid in fiscal 2029.
