CenterPoint Energy Declares Quarterly Cash Dividend of $0.24 per Share
CenterPoint Energy's Board of Directors declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 24c per share on the issued and outstanding shares of Common Stock payable on September 10 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 20. This represents a 1c increase over the April declared dividend per share and in line with CenterPoint's targeted annual dividend per share growth rate of 6%.

CEO Projects Customer Savings of Approximately $4 Billion Over Next Decade

"With the incremental and accelerating growth we see in Greater Houston alone, we project to be able to deliver customer savings of approximately $4 billion over the next decade...As a result, we now have clear line of sight to 12.2 GW of firmly committed industrial load. Given all these trends, we continue to believe we have one of the most tangible and executable growth plans in the industry".
