Belden Partners with Tulip to Accelerate Digital Transformation
Belden announced a partnership between its connected brand, CloudRail, and Tulip. Together, Belden and Tulip are helping life sciences and consumer packaged goods manufacturers accelerate brownfield digitization by connecting legacy equipment to modern frontline operations applications without disrupting production. Most legacy equipment was never designed to be connected, making it difficult to capture reliable, real-time data to inform performance monitoring, quality control, process management and traceability. As manufacturers attempt to digitize production lines, their efforts to modernize remain fragmented and hindered by inconsistent data and partial visibility. Addressing these obstacles requires a different approach to how production data is collected and used. Belden Launches New ProSoft Technology ELX3 Gateway
Belden announced the release of its new ProSoft Technology ELX3 ProLinx Edge Gateway. This offering unites operational technology protocol conversion with lightweight, Docker-based edge application hosting on a single ruggedized hardware platform-enabling organizations to deploy data acquisition, digital connectivity and CPU-based edge analytics directly at the machine level. The gateway gathers and processes data at the network edge for localized decision-making.
Vistance Networks Closes RUCKUS Networks Sale, Expects Net Proceeds of $1.75B
Vistance Networks (VISN) announced the closing of the transaction to sell its RUCKUS Networks business to Belden Corporation (BDC). The Company previously announced the signing of a definitive agreement for the transaction on April 30. After paying taxes, fees and expenses associated with the transaction, the Company expects to receive net proceeds of approximately $1.75B. The Company expects to distribute a significant portion of the net proceeds to shareholders as a dividend within 60 days of transaction closing. The exact amount and timing of the distribution will be determined by the Board after taking into account all relevant factors.

Belden (BDC) announced that it has completed its acquisition of RUCKUS Networks from Vistance Networks (VISN).
