Company Reports Q1 Revenue of $26.9M, Below Consensus
Reports Q1 revenue $26.9M, consensus $27.15M. Reports Q1 net interest margin on a fully tax-equivalent basis up 2.59% vs. last year. "Our priorities continue to center on our relationship building strategies to drive improvements in profitability and build shareholder value. Our net interest margin continues to expand and we saw net income increase 34.8 percent in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the first quarter of 2025," said CEO David Nelson.

Net interest margin, on a fully tax-equivalent basis, was 2.47 percent for the fourth quarter of 2025, compared to 2.36 percent for the third quarter of 2025. Net interest income for the fourth quarter of 2025 was $24.2 million, compared to $22.5 million for the third quarter of 2025. David Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented, "We have had continuous improvement in earnings and key performance metrics throughout 2025 and finished the year very strong. Through proactive and strategic balance sheet management, we see opportunities for further improvements in 2026. West Bank remains focused on relationship building and outstanding service and support. Our customer base continues to grow in all of our markets."

Net interest income for the third quarter of 2025 was $22.5 million, compared to $21.4 million for the second quarter of 2025. David Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented, "We had a strong third quarter with continued improvements in net interest income and net interest margin while prudently managing our noninterest expenses. We see opportunities for further improvement in earnings and our best-in-class credit quality metrics continue to be extremely strong. We had no loans on nonaccrual status and no loans past due greater than 30 days at September 30, 2025."

David Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented, "We had a solid second quarter and have significantly improved year-to-date net interest income, net interest margin and efficiency ratio compared to the first six months of 2024. We believe that we are well positioned for continued improvement in earnings through asset repricing while controlling funding costs and maintaining our pristine credit quality."

Net interest income for the first quarter of 2025 was $20.9 million, compared to $19.4 million for the fourth quarter of 2024. David Nelson, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Company, commented, "In the first quarter of 2025, we have continued to see improvements in net interest margin and efficiency ratio compared to 2024, resulting in a significant improvement in net income compared to the first quarter of 2024. We are pleased with our progress in our balance sheet repricing efforts. Loan growth was modest in the first quarter, as expected with the current economic uncertainty."
