Vistance Networks Announces Special Cash Distribution of $1.50 per Share

Vistance Networks announced its board approved a special cash distribution of $1.50 per share, payable on November 6 to holders of record of its common stock as of the close of business on October 26. Pursuant to Nasdaq Rule 11140(b)(2), because the amount of the special cash distribution will be 25% or greater of the value of the company's common stock, the ex-dividend date will be November 9, the first business day following the payment date. The company expects to fund the special cash distribution with available cash, including proceeds from the July 1 sale of its Ruckus Networks business.

Comcast Begins Trials of Aurora Networks DOCSIS 4.0

Aurora Networks announced that Comcast has begun field trials of its new, next-generation broadband node platform. The trial is the latest step in Comcast's industry-leading effort to roll out DOCSIS 4.0, which delivers multi-gig symmetrical speeds, unrivalled performance, and even better reliability for residential and business customers. FDX DOCSIS 4.0 is a cornerstone of Comcast's broader network transformation, which combines deeply embedded fiber, distributed access, and AI-powered software and advanced hardware to dramatically expand network capacity over existing infrastructure. The new Aurora Networks' Unified DOCSIS 4.0 Opti Max OM6180 node, which combines support for Full Duplex and Extended Spectrum DOCSIS 4.0, enables Comcast to scale these advanced network capabilities more efficiently across its footprint. Comcast has also initiated lab testing the next generation of DOCSIS 4.0 amplifiers from Aurora Networks. The new Starline BLE Unified DOCSIS 4.0 smart amplifier supports both FDX and ESD architectures up to 1.8 GHz, the amplifier leverages existing Starline BLE housings to provide a cost-effective, drop-in upgrade path that reduces deployment costs, installation time and network disruption.

Aurora Networks Showcases Expanded DOCSIS and PON Portfolios at SCTE TechExpo26

Aurora Networks announced they are showcasing expanded DOCSIS and PON portfolios at SCTE TechExpo26 in Atlanta, GA, September 29 - October 1. The expanded DOCSIS portfolio is highlighting a Unified DOCSIS 4.0 Smart Amplifier, while the PON portfolio builds on its existing 50G lineup - introducing a variety of new 50G products, including 50G remote and shelf OLTs, and a 50G shelf ONU. Aurora Networks will also be demonstrating its AI management platform, transforming how service providers manage their entire network environment as they evolve into next-generation architectures.
