Stratasys to Showcase New Manufacturing Solution at Formnext 2026
Stratasys will announce a new manufacturing solution, debut the F870 FDM system in Europe and showcase factory-floor applications from Toyota, GM and other manufacturers at Formnext 2026, November 17-20, in Hall 12.1, Booth D129 at Messe Frankfurt. The Stratasys exhibit will demonstrate applications across the company's additive manufacturing portfolio, from consumer parts to industrial production at scale. "Additive manufacturing is becoming an essential part of the modern factory floor, giving manufacturers greater flexibility, efficiency, resilience and control over how they produce," said Dr. Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys. "We see that shift accelerating across industries, from aerospace and defense to automotive and dental, as customers scale additive from individual applications into production workflows. At Formnext, we're showing the technology, software and expertise that make that possible at scale."
Stratasys Showcases Additive Manufacturing Solutions with General Motors
Stratasys (SSYS) announced a new showcase of its longstanding collaboration with General Motors (GM), highlighting how one of the world's most advanced manufacturers is leveraging Stratasys additive manufacturing solutions to reduce manufacturing lead times and costs while improving operational performance across its production operations. GM team members are leveraging Stratasys FDM additive manufacturing solutions to rapidly produce tooling, fixtures, jigs, factory aids and end-use parts, with facilities reporting significant savings. Stratasys combines industrial FDM production systems, production-grade materials, software and application expertise to design, build and integrate qualified additive manufacturing solutions into existing workflows and processes. Manufacturing teams across multiple GM production facilities in North and South America have deployed Stratasys platforms to support dozens of manufacturing applications spanning tooling, quality, safety, and ergonomics for years.
Stratasys Launches New F870 FDM System
Stratasys (SSYS) announced the launch of the new F870 FDM system, a large-format additive manufacturing platform designed for industrial manufacturers, automotive OEMs, aerospace & defense production lines, looking to scale production on the factory floor. Extending the Stratasys production-grade FDM portfolio, the F870 combines unrivaled large-format capabilities in a heated chamber backed by a suite of the strongest, most durable materials, all with a lower total cost of ownership so manufacturers can expand additive across manufacturing applications. Manufacturers increasingly demand larger, production-ready systems capable of producing tooling, fixtures, manufacturing aids and end-use parts at the size, throughput, and reliability needed for factory-floor deployment. The F870 FDM machine addresses this need. Systems are currently being adopted by leading manufacturers, including Toyota (TM) Production Engineering in Georgetown, Kentucky, and Rivian Automotive (RIVN) in Plymouth, Michigan. These organizations are assessing the platform across a range of applications, from factory-floor tooling and manufacturing aids to advanced prototyping workflows, ahead of commercial availability.
Company Adjusts 2026 Cash Flow Outlook, Revenue Target $565M to $575M
The company said, "Based on the strength of its pipeline of opportunities, the Company is reaffirming its outlook for full year 2026, while modifying its expectations regarding operating cash flow for the year. Due to increased cash usage in the first half of 2026, operating cash flow will not be positive for the full year, although operating cash flow is expected to be positive for the second half of the year. This updated outlook is based on current market conditions and assumes that the impacts of global inflationary pressures, relatively high interest rates, tariffs, exchange rates and other supply chain costs do not further impede economic activity. The specific metrics include: Full year revenue growing to a range of $565M to $575M, improving sequentially through the year. Based on current logistics and materials costs, full year non-GAAP gross margins of 46.7% to 47.1%, including approximately $7M of adverse impact from tariffs and foreign exchange rates relative to 2025. Full year non-GAAP operating expenses ranging from $260M to $262M, including approximately $10M of adverse impact from changes in foreign exchange rates. Full year non-GAAP operating margins in a range of 0.7% to 1.5%. GAAP net loss of $83M to $67M, or ($0.95) to ($0.76) per diluted share. Non-GAAP net income of $8M to $12.5M, or $0.09 to $0.14 per diluted share. Adjusted EBITDA of $25M to $30M, with Adjusted EBITDA margin of 4.5% to 5.0%. Capital expenditures of $20M to $25M." Revenue consensus $567.73M.
Stratasys Q2 Revenue at $137.6M, Below Consensus
Reports Q2 revenue $137.6M, consensus $138.48M. "Consumables reached a record level this quarter, driven by manufacturing materials, underscoring the continued strength of our strategy to grow the manufacturing portion of our business," said Dr. Yoav Zeif, CEO of Stratasys. "Aerospace and defense (A&D) revenue grew 17% year-over-year, reinforcing the increasing level of adoption in our largest and highest-value vertical. We are also excited by our pending acquisition of MarkForged, which will meaningfully enhance our industrial offering through its continuous carbon fiber technology, materials, and software platform. Our pipeline of new A&D orders continues to build as expected, positioning us to achieve sequential growth. With a debt-free balance sheet, we are poised to keep investing in our strategy from a position of financial strength."
