PACCAR Reports Q2 Revenue of $7.546B, Beating Estimates
Reports Q2 revenue $7.546B, consensus $7.03B. U.S. and Canada Class 8 truck industry retail sales are estimated to be in a range of 230,000-270,000 trucks in 2026. "Customers are benefiting from higher freight rates due to constrained industry freight capacity. Fleet age has increased as well, providing an opportunity for customers to refresh their fleets with newer, more fuel-efficient trucks," said John Rich, PACCAR executive vice president and chief technology officer. "On July 9, the U.S. EPA provided helpful clarification of emissions regulations that will be beneficial to customers as they make truck purchasing decisions for the second half of this year and 2027."

PACCAR Increases Quarterly Cash Dividend from 33c to 35c
Paccar's board of directors approved an increase in the regular quarterly cash dividend from 33c per share to 35c per share. The dividend will be payable on June 3, 2026, to stockholders of record at the close of business on May 13, 2026. Mark Pigott, executive chairman, shared, "PACCAR has generated excellent shareholder returns and profitability for decades. PACCAR has delivered annual dividends, including regular quarterly and extra cash dividends, totaling approximately 50% of net income for many years. PACCAR's shareholders have earned returns that have exceeded the S&P 500 index for the last five-, ten-, and twenty-year periods."
PACCAR Projects 2026 Capital Expenditures of $725-$775 Million
Brice Poplawski, senior vice president and chief financial officer, said, "Capital expenditures are projected to be in the range of $725-$775 million and research and development expenses are estimated to be in the range $450-$500 million in 2026. PACCAR is increasing its investment in next generation internal combustion, hybrid and battery-electric powertrains, integrated connected vehicle services, expanded manufacturing capabilities, and the PACCAR autonomous vehicle platform, that will create value for our customers."

"PACCAR reported good revenues and increased net income in the first quarter of 2026 compared to the fourth quarter last year," said Preston Feight, chief executive officer. "These results were generated by strong PACCAR Parts and Financial Services results and growth in the truck businesses. PACCAR's production backlog is increasing due to stronger demand. I am very proud of our employees and dealers who have delivered outstanding trucks and transportation solutions to our customers."
