GAP Reports 3.9% Increase in July 2026 Passenger Traffic

GAP announced preliminary terminal passenger traffic figures for July 2026 vs. 2025. During July 2026, the 12 Mexican airports operated by GAP recorded a 3.9% increase in total passenger traffic compared to July 2025. Guadalajara and Tijuana airports reported an increase of 13.2% and 7.2%, respectively, while Puerto Vallarta and Los Cabos reported a decrease of 12.1% and 6.9%, respectively, compared to July 2025. With respect to GAP's airports in Jamaica, Kingston recorded an increase of 2.9%, while Montego Bay Kingston recorded a decrease of 26.6%. The seats available during July 2026 increased by 0.7%, compared to July 2025. The load factors for the month went from 84.8% in July 2025 to 85.2% in July 2026.

GAP Reports 3.5% Decrease in June Passenger Traffic

The company states: "During June 2026, the 12 Mexican airports operated by GAP recorded a 3.5% decrease in total passenger traffic compared to June 2025. Guadalajara airport reported an increase of 6.0%, while Puerto Vallarta, Los Cabos and Tijuana reported a decrease of 18.7%, 9.7%, and 4.6%, respectively, compared to June 2025. With respect to GAP's airports in Jamaica, Montego Bay recorded a decrease of 23.4%, while Kingston recorded a decrease of 0.8%."

Equity Group Investments exited its investment in Cross Border Xpress, a binational pedestrian bridge connecting San Diego directly to Tijuana International Airport, through the sale of its stake in CBX to Grupo Aeroportuario del Pacifico. Based in Guadalajara, Mexico, GAP is an airport operator managing a portfolio of airports across Mexico and the Caribbean, including Tijuana International Airport.
