NWPX Infrastructure Acquires Serpentix Conveyor
NWPX Infrastructure acquired Serpentix Conveyor, a manufacturer of engineered conveyor systems used primarily in municipal wastewater treatment plants and industrial manufacturing facilities. The transaction closed on September 2 and is expected to be immediately accretive to earnings. Founded in 1969 and headquartered in Westminster, Colorado, Serpentix has more than five decades of experience developing custom material-handling solutions. For the trailing twelve months ended June 30, 2026, annual net sales for Serpentix were approximately $15.6M. The transaction marks NWPX Infrastructure's second acquisition this year, following the acquisition of Boughton's Precast in February.

CEO Montross concluded, "Looking ahead, we expect performance in the third quarter of 2026 to be comparable to, or stronger than, the second quarter of 2026. Demand across our end markets remains healthy, bidding activity continues at elevated levels, and our Precast business is carrying positive momentum into the second half of the year. As a result, 2026 is shaping up to be a historic year for NWPX Infrastructure."

"Consolidated revenue increased 19% year-over-year to $138.3 million, while gross profit grew nearly 38%, highlighting the operating leverage in our model and continued execution across the organization."

"We delivered an exceptional fourth quarter with WTS revenue of $84.0 million and a healthy gross margin of 21.2%," said Scott Montross, President and CEO of NWPX Infrastructure. "Robust bidding activity increased our WTS backlog including confirmed orders to $346 million, positioning us well for continued momentum in 2026. Precast also performed well, generating $41.7 million in revenue and a 21.5% gross margin, reflecting improvement both sequentially and compared against the year ago quarter. The Precast order book ended the year at a stable $57 million, providing solid visibility in 2026."
