Eli Lilly's Omvoh Shows Significant Efficacy in Ulcerative Colitis and Crohn's Disease
Eli Lilly reported new data analyses showing patients with moderately to severely active ulcerative colitis, or UC, and Crohn's disease treated with Omvoh achieved multiple treatment goals simultaneously at one year, as measured by comprehensive disease control in UC and corticosteroid-free deep remission in Crohn's disease. These multidimensional outcomes were observed even in patients with prior biologic failure, a population often facing greater treatment challenges. Furthermore, patients who achieved these endpoints were more likely to also achieve remission on the Inflammatory Bowel Disease Questionnaire. These post-hoc data from the LUCENT and VIVID programs will be presented at United European Gastroenterology Week 2026. At one year, 27.7% of UC patients treated with Omvoh achieved comprehensive disease control compared with 14% receiving placebo, and 20.4% of CD patients receiving Omvoh achieved corticosteroid-free deep remission compared with 2% receiving placebo.
Adlai Nortye Announces Clinical Trial Collaboration with Eli Lilly and Merck KGaA
Adlai Nortye (ANL) announced clinical trial collaboration and supply agreements, or CTCSAs, with Eli Lilly (LLY) and Merck KGaA (MKGAF) for the anti-EGFR antibody cetuximab. These agreements will support Adlai Nortye's ongoing Phase I trial evaluating AN4035, a pan-RAS inhibitor-based ADC, both as monotherapy and in combination with cetuximab, in CEACAM5-enriched RAS-addicted solid tumors. Adlai Nortye is the sponsor of the trial. Lilly will supply cetuximab at no cost for the U.S. clinical trial sites. Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany will supply cetuximab at no cost for the Australia and China clinical trial sites.

Prelude Therapeutics Announces Clinical Trial Collaboration with Eli Lilly
Prelude Therapeutics (PRLD) announced a clinical trial collaboration and supply agreement with Eli Lilly (LLY) for supply of its CDK4/6 kinase inhibitor, abemaciclib and its oral estrogen receptor antagonist, imlunestrant. The agreement supports the evaluation of Prelude's clinical development candidate PRT13722, an oral KAT6A selective degrader, in combinations with abemaciclib and imlunestrant in a Phase 1 trial in patients with HR+/HER2- breast cancer. The FDA recently cleared the company to proceed with the Phase 1 study under its investigational new drug, or IND, application for PRT13722. The company expects to begin enrolling patients in the fourth quarter of 2026 beginning with monotherapy dose escalation and rapidly advancing to various combination cohorts. Prelude maintains full global development and commercial rights to PRT13722 as a wholly owned program.
Eli Lilly Announces New Data from TOGETHER-PsO Trial
Eli Lilly announced new exploratory data from the TOGETHER-PsO Phase 3b clinical trial evaluating the concomitant use of Taltz and Zepbound compared with Taltz alone in adults with moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis and obesity or overweight with at least one additional weight-related comorbid condition. The prespecified analysis, presented at the 2026 Fall Clinical Dermatology Conference in Las Vegas, provides new insights suggesting an immunometabolic relationship between psoriasis and obesity. These data showed that when Taltz and Zepbound were used together, changes were observed in more psoriasis disease-associated and metabolic biomarkers compared to Taltz monotherapy. In the U.S., approximately 61% of people with psoriasis also have obesity or overweight with at least one weight-related comorbidity. This analysis examined circulating proteins and gene expression in the blood to better understand the biological change observed when patients were treated concomitantly with Taltz and Zepbound vs. Taltz alone. At Week 36, observed changes in psoriasis-specific, immune and metabolic biomarkers in both the Taltz and Zepbound and Taltz monotherapy treatment arms were consistent with the known biological effects of each medicine when used for their approved indications. Notably, Taltz and Zepbound used together were associated with broader biomarker responses compared to Taltz alone as early as Week 12. This included changes in more proteins and genes by Week 36. Further, the analysis showed greater reductions in inflammatory immune activity with Taltz and Zepbound compared with Taltz alone, including changes related to neutrophils, a type of immune cell involved in inflammation. Changes in a subset of neutrophil-associated markers mediated a portion of the additional Psoriasis Area and Severity Index, or PASI, response seen with Taltz and Zepbound vs. Taltz alone.
