Karman Completes Acquisition of Walker Precision Engineering

Karman completed its acquisition of Walker Precision Engineering on August 28. With a presence in the U.K. and the EU, Walker brings to bear advanced capabilities spanning engineering, materials design, precision machining, electroplating and electromechanical assemblies. Its products support missile seekers, guidance systems and control systems across more than 25 European tactical missile and air defense programs for prime contractors with global reach. The transaction was funded through increased term loan borrowings under its credit agreement.

Karman Appoints Chris Boynton as CFO

Karman announced that Chris Boynton will join Karman as CFO, effective September 14. Current CFO Mike Willis will depart Karman following a phased transition process, by year-end. This transition is the result of deliberative succession planning process by Karman leadership following its February 2025 Initial Public Offering. Most recently, Boynton served as CFO of Raytheon Missiles & Defense, a multi-billion dollar business unit with thousands of employees. Previously, he led financial operations for a multi-billion dollar shared services organization as Vice President & CFO of RTX Enterprise Services.

Karman Space & Defense Secures $21.3M Contract from Northrop Grumman

Karman Space & Defense announced that Northrop Grumman Corporation has awarded a $21.3M contract for the Proof of Manufacture phase of the U.S. Navy's MK 54 Torpedo Fleet Exercise Section program. This contract award builds on Karman's decades of proven performance as a critical supplier of maritime defense systems across submarine, surface ship, and autonomous naval platforms, including mission critical undersea warfare and fleet readiness applications.
