Honeywell Aerospace Declares $0.40 Quarterly Dividend
Honeywell Aerospace announced that its Board of Directors has declared the company's first quarterly cash dividend of 40c per share of common stock. The dividend is payable on December 4 to shareholders of record as of the close of business on November 13.
Honeywell Aerospace Expands Manufacturing Facilities with $500M Investment
Honeywell Aerospace announced a major expansion of its manufacturing facilities, strengthening the company's ability to meet growing demand across current and next-generation commercial aviation and defense programs. The new $500M, 300,000-square-foot Tempe, Arizona facility will include an integrated digital production system, modular robotics, automated inspection, digital twins, and be powered by an end-to-end digital thread. The facility will support the largest commercial and defense customers in aerospace and defense. The new facility, near the company's global headquarters, will create supply chain resilience by adding internal complex machining capability - a key area of the supply base that is currently constrained - while establishing a more vertically integrated production system for the next generation of products including Assure advanced actuation systems and Attune vapor cycle cooling subsystems. Opening in late 2028, the advanced manufacturing facility will support customers' growth on current programs, $15B in Control Systems new program wins, and the future of aviation. The expansion will also provide capacity growth to support priority production of critical defense technologies included in the supplier framework agreement the company signed with the Department of War in March. Over time the facility will create approximately 600 jobs, increasing the company's engineering depth and its skilled workforce. In addition, construction of the facility will support more than 1,000 local jobs.

Honeywell Aerospace Pays $2.04M to Settle Cybersecurity Allegations
The Justice Department announced that Honeywell Aerospace has agreed to pay $2.04M to resolve allegations that it is liable under the False Claims Act for failing to comply with cybersecurity requirements in a contract with the U.S. Department of Defense. The settlement resolves allegations that from April 2020 through December 2023, a business unit of Honeywell International submitted false claims for payment by failing to comply with cybersecurity requirements specified in National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-171, with respect to one of Honeywell's networks, as required by the contract and regulation. The allegations resolved by this settlement arose from a whistleblower lawsuit filed under the False Claims Act under which private citizens can sue on behalf of the government and share in any recovery. The settlement in this case provides for the whistleblower, Rachel Tenney, a former employee of Honeywell, to receive $375,823 as her share of the settlement.
