Major Averages Decline Ahead of Long Weekend Due to Jobs Report

Treasury yields rose following the report, with the two-year yield reaching its highest level since January 2025.Meanwhile, President Donald Trump took to Truth Social after the report came out, suggesting the "great" jobs report should lead to lower interest rates.
