Graco sees Q4 revenue $610M-$640M, consensus $642.41M
Graco Reports Q3 Revenue of $586.4M
Reports Q3 revenue $586.4M, consensus $590.59M. "Graco delivered a solid quarter, with broad-based performance across our businesses and geographies. Growth in professional paint, powder finishing and semiconductor applications, together with contributions from recent acquisitions, demonstrates the diversity of our portfolio and the strength of our market positions," said Mark Sheahan, President and Chief Executive Officer. "We are pleased with the consistency of our execution and remain focused on building on that momentum. We were encouraged that incoming organic orders increased 7% in the quarter and 4% for the year-to-date, with all three segments contributing to year-to-date order growth."
ABB Signs License Agreement with Graco Subsidiary for ETM Technology
Electric Torque Machines, a Graco (GGG) subsidiary, announced that ABB (ABBNY) has signed a license agreement covering the use of ETM's technology in data center cooling towers and heat rejection systems. ETM's TFM architecture is built for applications that need high torque, low speed, and efficient direct drive. By reducing mechanical complexity, TFM-based systems can help customers create cooling solutions that are simpler, use fewer drivetrain components, and are better suited to the reliability demands of modern data centers. The agreement creates a path to participate in a multi-year infrastructure buildout where differentiated motor performance can become a competitive advantage. Under the license agreement, ABB and ETM will develop TFM-based products for data center cooling towers, heat rejection, and related thermal management applications, with the companies targeting the first installations in data center environments by the end of 2029. ABB and ETM will continue collaborating on product development, application engineering, customer qualification, and market development. The opportunity brings together complementary strengths: ABB's scale, channel access, and customer relationships, and ETM's motor technology, in a market where performance, reliability, and energy efficiency are increasingly central to data center operating economics.
Company Initiates Q3 Sales Guidance of $580 to $600 Million
"Organic incoming orders increased at a mid-single-digit rate during the second quarter, with orders across all segments up low single digits year to date, reflecting continued improvement in demand trends across the business. Improving market conditions, growing project activity and commercial initiatives give us confidence in the second half of the year to maintain our guidance for low single-digit organic sales growth on a constant-currency basis and mid-single-digit sales growth including acquisitions. We are also initiating third-quarter total company sales guidance of $580 million to $600 million, excluding our announced acquisition of Valco Melton, which is expected to close in the third quarter."
