GFL Environmental Appoints Allen Gransch as COO

GFL Environmental has appointed Allen Gransch as COO of the Company. Gransch joined GFL as Executive Vice President on September 1, in connection with the acquisition of SECURE Waste Infrastructure Corp.

Federal Reserve Raises Rates by 25 Basis Points, Stocks Decline

KKR, Blackstone Partner for Potential GFL Buyout

KKR (KKR), Energy Capital Partners, and Blackstone (BX) have partnered for a potential leveraged buyout of GFL Environmental, while Brookfield Asset Management (BAM) and IFM Investors have partnered on a rival bid, Bloomberg reports, citing people familiar with discussions. Other bidders could emerge and consortia could still change, the report added.
