Greene County Bancorp Board Approves Stock Repurchase Program for Up to 400,000 Shares
Greene County Bancorp announced that its Board of Directors has adopted a stock repurchase program. Under the repurchase program, the company may repurchase up to 400,000 shares of its common stock. This amount represents approximately 5.0% of the company's 7,808,300 shares of outstanding common stock held by shareholders other than Greene County Bancorp, MHC, the company's majority mutual holding company parent. Repurchases are expected to commence after the company publicly releases its results of operations for the quarter ended March 31.
Company Net Interest Income Increases to $19.1 Million
Net interest income increased $5M to $19.1M for the three months ended December 31, from $14.1M for the three months ended December 31, 2024. Net interest margin increased 50 basis points to 2.54% for the three months ended December 31 as compared to 2.04% for the three months ended December 31, 2024. Reports book value per share $15.17. Net interest margin increased 45 basis points to 2.48% for the three months ended September 30, 2025, compared to 2.03% for the three months ended September 30, 2024. Net interest income increased $3.8 million to $16.7 million for the three months ended June 30, 2025 from $12.9 million for the three months ended June 30, 2024. Net interest margin increased 40 basis points to 2.37% for the three months ended June 30, 2025, compared to 1.97% for the three months ended June 30, 2024. Reports book value per share $14.03. Greene County Bancorp raises quarterly dividend 11.1% to 10c per share
Greene County Bancorp announced that its Board of Directors has approved a quarterly cash dividend of 10c per share on the company's common stock. The dividend reflects an annual cash dividend rate of 40c per share which represents an 11.1% increase from the previous annual cash dividend of 36c per share. The cash dividend for the quarter ended June 30 will be paid to shareholders of record as of August 15, and is expected to be paid on August 29.
