Fabrinet is a provider of advanced optical packaging and precision optical, electro-mechanical and electronic manufacturing services to original equipment manufacturers of complex products, such as optical communication components, modules and sub-systems, automotive components, industrial lasers, medical devices and sensors. The Company offers a range of advanced optical and electro-mechanical capabilities across the entire manufacturing process, including process design and engineering, supply chain management, manufacturing, complex printed circuit board assembly, advanced packaging, integration, final assembly and testing. It focuses primarily on low-volume production of a wide variety of high complexity products. It also designs and fabricates applications-specific crystals, lenses, prisms, mirrors, laser components, and substrates (customized optics) and other custom and standard borosilicate, clear fused quartz, and synthetic fused silica glass products (customized glass).
Fabrinet is currently a hold. The stock is trading at $363.51, significantly below the analyst price targets ranging from $680 to $800, indicating potential upside. However, the RSI is at a low of 18.138, suggesting oversold conditions, but the recent 5-day change of -25.25% raises concerns about short-term volatility. The company's revenue growth of 45% year-over-year in the AI sector is promising, but the drop in stock price post-earnings due to revenue declines in the datacom division is a risk to consider.

Just wanted to go vent on the forum, but then I checked my balance — never mind, the market is always right. Right after the bearish news came out, $FN/FN started turning down, and this drop came faster than expected. I entered the short at 490.3, got shaken around twice in the middle and almost got stopped out, but luckily I held on. Now the price is 422.8, with a return of +269.86%, and it feels great. The logic isn't complicated: on that last push up, volume clearly didn't follow, a typical bull trap structure. It couldn't hold, so naturally it had to pull back. On execution, I closed 80% first, and the remaining 20% is defended at breakeven — I won't let profit turn into regret. Being flat is not a crime; opening positions recklessly is the mistake. Even if it's just one point of profit, if you can take it, it's yours; no matter how big the unrealized gain is, it belongs to the market. Don't blindly chase shorts now — wait for my signal on the next opportunity, that's steadier than anything 🎯 $ADA $DOGE

Just checked my balance before venting online — the market is always right. Quick recap: the $FN short I opened a few days ago at 490.3 is now at 422.9, with unrealized gains around +269.86%. Not the heaviest position, but the timing felt right. When the early session dip started, price didn't drop straight down — it first pulled back to a higher level for a second test. Each push up lost momentum, volume kept shrinking, and there was clear resistance overhead. I judged the bounce was weak, so instead of chasing the initial drop, I waited for price to return near 490.3 to enter, with a stop just above that resistance. If it weakens further, I hold; if it breaks out, I take the loss and move on. A controlled loss is part of proper trading. Managing risk upfront is discipline; cutting losses after the fact is damage control. I've taken 80% off this trade and moved the stop on the remaining 20% to breakeven. If it keeps weakening, that small position can run for more; if it bounces, the protective stop exits me without fighting the market. This is not a spot to chase. Wait for the next signal before acting. Don't burn patience in chop, then try to reclaim confidence in a trend. $ZEC $LAB
