During the quarter, we expanded organic recurring revenue, advanced our AI innovation roadmap, maintained disciplined cost management, and strengthened our balance sheet through deleveraging. The company said, "Our second quarter results reflect continued financial discipline and execution. In the first half of 2026, we expanded our profit margin and reduced debt by more than $200 million through strong free cash flow generation and opportunistic debt repurchases. Clarivate Appoints Michael Easton as CFO
Clarivate announced the appointment of Michael Easton as executive VP and CFO, effective August 8. He succeeds Jonathan Collins who is stepping down as CFO to pursue another opportunity. He most recently served as senior VP and chief accounting officer, leading Clarivate's core financial reporting and planning functions.
Clarivate Selected to Modernize France's National Academic Library System
Clarivate announced that the Bibliographic Agency for Higher Education has selected the company to modernize France's national academic library system, under a multi-year agreement. Bibliographic Agency for Higher Education supports higher education and research institutions across France with a documentation system including shared library data and services. It also operates Sudoc, a national shared cataloging system for print and electronic resources, containing over 15M bibliographic records, with a network of 3,000 libraries. The new agreement supplements existing Clarivate support for over 70 academic institutions with Alma and Primo at the institutional and regional level in France.
