This has directly benefited our stockholders by enabling the payment of dividends, including a special dividend paid in January 2026 in addition to quarterly dividends, and repurchases of our stock. We expect that these repurchases will continue as market opportunities present themselves."

Capitol Federal Declares Special Cash Dividend of 4 Cents per Share
Capitol Federal Financial, the holding company for Capitol Federal Savings Bank, announced that its board of directors has declared a special cash dividend of 4c per share on outstanding CFFN common stock. The dividend is payable on January 23, 2026 to stockholders of record as of the close of business on January 9, 2026. Between October 1, 2025 and December 16, 2025, the company has also repurchased 1,577,853 shares of common stock at an average cost of $6.72 per share, the company noted.
