Aduro Selects Saipem for First Hydrochemolytic Technology Facility

Aduro Clean Technologies announced the selection of Saipem for Early Works and Services supporting the development of Aduro's planned First-of-a-Kind Hydrochemolytic Technology Facility at Chemelot in the Netherlands. Early works activities are expected to be funded from the company's existing cash resources and are not expected to require additional financing. The selection follows a comprehensive evaluation process and establishes the engineering and project execution framework for Aduro's First-of-a-Kind Program. The initial phase of the collaboration focuses on early engineering and procurement activities, including review of the Process Design Package, optimization of critical equipment packages, preliminary utility integration, and capital cost refinement. Subject to successful completion of each development stage, the parties' continued evaluation of the project, and the execution of definitive agreements, the collaboration is expected to progress through Front-End Engineering Design, detailed engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and start-up. The planned First-of-a-Kind Plant represents the next step in Aduro's commercialization strategy by providing the initial industrial-scale implementation of Hydrochemolytic Technology. The First-of-a-Kind Facility is planned for Chemelot Industrial Park in the Netherlands.

Aduro Clean Tech Advances Collaboration with ECOCE to Next Phase

Aduro Clean Tech announced that its collaboration with ECOCE has advanced to the next phase following completion of Phase 1 feedstock mapping and stream selection. "Phase 1 has moved this collaboration from a market opportunity into a defined technical feedstock program," said Ofer Vicus, CEO of Aduro. "The next phase will generate the data that matters for scale-up and economics, including processability, product quality, yield, contaminant behaviour, and the potential value of HCT-derived liquids as circular hydrocarbon feedstocks."

Aduro Clean Tech and AstroTurf Sign MOU

Aduro Clean Tech and AstroTurf announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding, or MOU, to evaluate the application of Aduro's Hydrochemolytic Technology to end-of-life synthetic turf. The MOU establishes a framework for Aduro and AstroTurf to evaluate how HCT, together with appropriate mechanical pre-treatment, can support a technical and economic pathway for recovering the polyethylene and polypropylene fractions of end-of-life synthetic turf and converting them into liquid hydrocarbon products suitable for use as circular feedstock in existing petrochemical infrastructure. The parties intend to work together to better understand the practical requirements, material preparation steps, and process considerations needed to advance recycling options for synthetic turf waste. For Aduro, the engagement builds on its existing work on synthetic turf materials and provides another opportunity to collaborate with a recognized industry participant, following prior testing conducted through a separate confidential engagement with another global synthetic turf producer.
