VIAVI Reports Q4 Revenue of $443.1M, Exceeding Expectations
Reports Q4 revenue $443.1M, consensus $432.62M. "VIAVI's fourth quarter and fiscal year 2026 financial performance has exceeded our expectations, driven by strong growth in many of our end markets. Our diversification strategy into datacenter ecosystem and aerospace and defense end markets has been a key growth driver for us during FY26, and we expect this strategy to continue driving our growth for the next several quarters," said Oleg Khaykin, VIAVI's President and Chief Executive Officer.
VIAVI Wins $1.1M EU Funding to Advance SHIELD-6G Project
Viavi announced that it has been awarded $1.1M in funding from the European Smart Networks and Services Joint Undertaking and Horizon Europe to advance the SHIELD-6G project. The SHIELD-6G project aims to develop an AI-driven Cyber Threat Intelligence platform for 6G networks with interoperable security, orchestration and regulatory compliance. VIAVI will develop digital twins using its TeraVM AI RAN Scenario Generator, enabling AI-driven security models to be developed, tested and validated ahead of the first commercial 6G signal going live.
VIAVI Solutions' Xgig Platform Achieves PCI-SIG Gold Suite Acceptance
VIAVI Solutions announced that its Xgig platform for PCI Express 6.0 specification testing has achieved Gold Suite acceptance from PCI-SIG. This recognition enables the platform to be used for PCIe 6.0 link and transaction protocol compliance testing at PCI-SIG compliance workshops worldwide.

Major Indices Fall for Third Day, WTI Crude Tops $104
Major indices fell for the third straight day, with the absence of any signs toward a resolution in the Strait of Hormuz standoff sustaining inflationary fears. Energy was among the best performing sectors in the S&P 500 on Tuesday as WTI Crude Oil topped $104 per barrel. Investors also rotated into the defensive areas of the market with Health Care, Consumer Staples and Utilities outperforming at the expense of Basic Materials and large-cap tech. Global bond market rout also continued to impact sentiment, with Treasury yields rising at the medium and long end of the curve - of note, the 10-year to 3-month Treasury yield spread topped 100 basis points for the first time since 2022.In the opening hour of the evening session S&P 500 mini and NQ100 contracts are both down marginally. In commodities, metals are being pressured by more pronounced strengthening in U.S. dollar - gold is below $4,500 and silver has fallen below $75 per ounce. While the earnings season has largely concluded, results out of Nvidiatomorrow evening will dominate market debate on the health of the AI capex boomagainst the backdrop of higher funding costs over the next 24 hours.
