SLB Signs 15-Year Agreement with TotalEnergies
SLB (SLB) announced a 15-year agreement with TotalEnergies (TTE) to use the DrillPlan well planning and engineering solutions. The agreement will support TotalEnergies' transition to a digital planning environment, connecting subsurface insights with well planning and engineering. Enabled by SLB's DrillPlan solutions and the expertise of both companies, the agreement marks a significant step in the companies' digital collaboration. "Operators are increasingly looking for scalable technologies that can support more consistent planning decisions across large and diverse portfolios," said Rakesh Jaggi, president of SLB's Digital business. "This agreement demonstrates how customers are moving toward digital solutions that improve consistency, strengthen collaboration and provide a foundation for future workflow innovation."
SLB Signs Contract with ExxonMobil for Mozambique Project
SLB announced that its OneSubsea joint venture has been awarded a contract by ExxonMobil Mocambique, Limitada, on behalf of its Area 4 partners to deliver subsea production systems for the first phase of the offshore Rovuma LNG project in Mozambique. The contract scope includes the delivery of subsea trees, manifolds, umbilicals and associated control systems designed to support efficient production from the deepwater field. SLB OneSubsea will provide engineering, procurement, manufacturing, along with installation services, leveraging its experience in delivering subsea systems for complex deepwater developments worldwide.
Ormat Technologies Secures $35 Million Funding from DOE
Ormat Technologies (ORA) "announced that it has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy for up to approximately $35 million in funding, in partnership with SLB (SLB) and the University of Utah, to advance an Enhanced Geothermal Systems project at its Dixie Valley geothermal project in Nevada and, in partnership with the University of Utah, hydrothermal geothermal development at its Cove Fort geothermal project in Utah. The awards are subject to completion of award negotiations with DOE."
SLB Awarded Four Integrated Well Construction Contracts by Aramco
SLB has been awarded four integrated well construction contracts by Aramco to support oil and gas development across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Under the contracts, SLB will manage end-to-end well construction services, delivering more than 450 wells in the three-year term, with an optional extension of up to two years. SLB's integrated well construction model brings together every aspect of well delivery through a technology-enabled operating model. It combines digital drilling workflows with automated drilling, evaluation, fluids, cementing, and completions products and services to improve efficiency, consistency, and well performance across diverse, large-scale drilling programs.
SLB Awarded Contract by OQ for New Facility in Oman
SLB has been awarded a contract by OQ Exploration & Production to deliver the Bisat-B Expansion Production Facility in Oman. Under the contract, SLB will provide design, engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning services for the facility, along with four years of operations and maintenance support. The expansion will increase the facility's gross fluids handling capacity to 548,000 barrels per day. The project is scheduled for completion within 19 months.
