Primoris Q2 Revenue at $1.69B, Below Consensus
Reports Q2 revenue $1.69B, consensus $1.74B. "Despite the challenges on a limited number of renewables projects that impacted our earnings during the quarter, Primoris delivered record bookings and achieved the highest total backlog in our history," said Koti Vadlamudi, President and Chief Executive Officer of Primoris. "These awards reflect the strength of our end markets, the increasing demand for critical infrastructure investment, and the trust our customers place in Primoris to deliver our services safely, efficiently, and with the highest standards of quality."
Company Expects Adjusted EBITDA of $275M to $325M for 2026
Adjusted EBITDA for the full year 2026 is expected to range from $275 million to $325 million. The Company is targeting SG&A expense as a percentage of revenue to be in the low 6% range for the full year 2026. The Company's targeted gross margins by segment are 10% to 12% for the Utilities and 6% to 8% in Energy segments for the full year 2026. The Company expects its effective tax rate for 2026 to be approximately 30% to 32.0%, but it may vary depending on the mix of states in which the Company operates.
Fermi Signs Major Agreement with Primoris
Fermi (FRMI) announced a major agreement with Primoris Energy Services, part of Primoris (PRMI), to engineer and construct the balance of plant for the first six SGT-800 gas turbines anchoring Fermi's phase one power buildout. The agreement covers the engineering, procurement, and construction scope for the simple cycle phase of Fermi's Siemens 6x1 combined cycle generating facility, rising adjacent to the Project Matador hyperscale computing and data center campus in Amarillo, Texas.
