Greenland Mines Fully Acquires 9.9% of Anortech
Greenland Mines announced that it has exercised in full its option to acquire an additional 9.9% of Anortech. Bo Moller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines, commented: "Rebuilding America's aluminum and advanced-materials industries requires secure feedstock and more refining capacity on U.S. soil. We see the opportunity to connect Greenland resources with U.S. production of smelter-grade alumina for American aluminum smelters and high-purity alumina for semiconductor and other advanced-materials supply chains. The objective is a supply chain from Greenland to the United States that can operate independently of Chinese refining, with more processing, manufacturing and value creation in America. That is how feedstock from friendly shores could support greater U.S. industrial self-sufficiency. Alongside that U.S. industrial opportunity, AnorTech's simulants and materials development support research on lunar surface infrastructure and the use of local resources for construction. Doubling our position gives Greenland Mines shareholders exposure to this U.S. industrial strategy, alongside longer-term potential in lunar applications."

The signing formalizes the framework announced Friday and marks a significant milestone in strengthening long-term Arctic and North Atlantic security while underscoring Greenland's growing strategic importance to the United States and the Western alliance. "Today's signing moves Greenland's strategic importance from concept to action," said Bo Moller Stensgaard, President of Greenland Mines. "Security is not only about military access and infrastructure; it is also about the supply chains behind modern defense, energy and advanced technology. Responsible development of Greenland's rare earths and critical metals is security in the making. Greenland Mines Applies for New License, Expanding Sarfartoq Control to 454 km²
Greenland Mines has submitted an application to the Government of Greenland for a new license covering approximately 262 km2 immediately east of the Company's existing Sarfartoq license, MEL 2020-32. This new license will increase Greenland Mines' control at Sarfartoq from approximately 192 km2 to approximately 454 km2 - more than doubling the footprint across the known rare earth and carbonatite district. The license application follows a series of major technical and operational milestones at Sarfartoq in Western Greenland. Greenland Mines recently delivered a new independent Mineral Resource Estimate under U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Regulation S-K Subpart 1300, and released an independent Initial Assessment focused on the ST1 Neodymium-Praseodymium dominated rare earth deposit at Sarfartoq. The new Hybrid open-pit and underground MRE comprises 6.9M tons of Indicated Mineral Resources grading 1.60% total rare earth oxides and 5.3M tons of Inferred Mineral Resources grading 0.96% TREO. On a combined Indicated-plus-Inferred basis, the Hybrid scenario contains approximately 12.2M tons grading 1.32% TREO. Mineral Resources are not Mineral Reserves and do not have demonstrated economic viability. Sarfartoq's Initial Assessment includes a high-case pre-tax NPV of approximately $2.05B, and its planned annual neodymium-praseodymium oxide production would represent approximately 34% of all NdPr oxide currently refined outside China at 2025 consumption levels. Importantly, the MRE and Initial Assessment relate to ST1 Neodymium-Praseodymium dominated rare earth deposit only. The broader Sarfartoq Carbonatite Complex hosts multiple additional known rare earth occurrences - including ST40, ST19, ST24, ST31 and ST43 - that remain substantially less developed than ST1 and do not contribute to the current ST1 Mineral Resource Estimate or its economic analysis. Greenland Mines intends to pursue a disciplined two-track strategy at Sarfartoq: advance the ST1 through the next stages of technical, environmental and mine-development work, while systematically evaluating known satellite targets and generating new discoveries across the broader district.
