Guardian Pharmacy Acquires Assets from Nautilus Pharmacy
Guardian Pharmacy Services announced the acquisition of assets from Tennessee-based Nautilus Pharmacy, including prescription files, related pharmacy inventory, and certain fixed assets. "Guardian has built its business around the belief that local service coupled with a deep understanding of the communities we serve is critical to effectively addressing the complexities of medication management," said David Brown, senior vice president of the Central Region at Guardian Pharmacy Services. "By transitioning these community partners and residents from mail order service to Guardian pharmacies already operating in their markets, we are bringing pharmacy services closer to these customers, providing the local accountability, responsiveness, and senior care expertise Guardian customers depend on."

Reports Q2 revenue $351.8M, consensus $340.45M. "Guardian delivered another strong quarter, with continued momentum across our local markets," said Fred Burke, President and Chief Executive Officer. "While IRA-related pricing reductions affected reported revenue growth, which was up 2%, the underlying business remained strong. Absent the price reductions from the IRA, revenues would have been up low double digits compared to the second quarter of 2025. We also continued to expand profitability, reflecting the benefits of scale, purchasing leverage and improved operating efficiency."
Guardian Pharmacy Acquires Wellness Concepts to Expand Virginia Operations
Guardian Pharmacy Services announced the acquisition of Wellness Concepts, an LTC pharmacy based in Grottoes, Va. This addition expands Guardian's footprint in Virginia to three pharmacies in Gainesville, Wytheville, and Grottoes, strengthening its ability to support the growing demand for LTC pharmacy services across the state. "Since its founding, Wellness Concepts has earned the trust of communities throughout the Shenandoah Valley through exceptional service, strong customer relationships, and a deeply experienced local staff," said Marybeth Terry, Senior Vice President of the East Region at Guardian Pharmacy Services. "Welcoming Brent and his team strengthens our presence in Virginia and enhances the expertise and dependable, high-touch support we provide throughout the region."
Guardian Pharmacy Executive Forbes Retires, Morris to Become COO
Guardian Pharmacy Services announced that Kendall Forbes, who has served as Executive Vice President of Sales & Operations since 2004, has decided to retire, effective as of July 1. Upon Forbes's retirement, David Morris, currently Executive Vice President and CFO of Guardian will assume the role of COO. In connection with Morris' new role, Will Mudd, Senior Vice President, Finance, has been appointed CFO of Guardian. The leadership changes will be effective July 1. Mudd has served as Senior Vice President, Finance of the company since 2012, overseeing financial accounting and reporting, revenue cycle management, and human resources. Prior to joining Guardian, Mudd spent approximately ten years with the audit services group at Grant Thornton servicing a broad range of clients, ranging from small, private equity-backed private companies to mature public companies.
