Arcos Dorados Reports Q2 Revenue of $1.3B, a Record High

Reports Q2 revenue $1.3B, consensus $1.29B. Luis Raganato, Chief Executive Officer, said, "Over the last several quarters, we have taken important steps to improve the resilience of the Arcos Dorados business model and monetize our significant market share advantage. Total Revenues, Adjusted EBITDA and Net Income all grew strongly in US dollars, despite challenging consumer dynamics in the second quarter of 2026. In fact, total revenues of $1.3 billion were our highest-ever quarterly revenues, supported by the best guest volume performance of the last six quarters. Adjusted EBITDA, net income and earnings per share all set second quarter records... The exclusive, global sponsorship of the FIFA World Cup allowed us to execute marketing campaigns and activations in all sales channels. Digital sales penetration and identified sales were the highest ever and we measured market share gains across the region as well. The loyalty program continued to increase guest frequency among its most active members and guests also continued to respond positively to our compelling value platforms throughout the region. "

Arcos Dorados Reports Q1 Revenue of $1.22B

Reports Q1 revenue $1.22B, consensus $1.21B. Luis Raganato, CEO, said, "Arcos Dorados has consistently added to its leading market share position and strengthened the McDonald's Brand across our operating footprint over the last several years. In fact, taking 2019 as the base, through the end of 2025: total revenue grew almost 60%, Adjusted EBITDA nearly doubled and net income was up more than 2.5x, in US dollars. Our objective for the coming years is to build on this incredible foundation and continue to capitalize on the significant competitive advantages we built over the period. With that context, 2026 is off to a good start. First quarter 2026 highlights included $1.2 billion in total revenue, the Company's highest level for a first quarter, which was supported by 16% systemwide comparable sales growth. Increased guest volume in NOLAD and SLAD added to higher average checks in Brazil and SLAD to drive growth in the period. Similar to total revenue, we generated our highest Adjusted EBITDA for a first quarter, reaching $118 million thanks to strong topline growth and very solid margin expansion, especially in Brazil and SLAD. We are pursuing strategies that capitalize on the Brand to monetize the significant market share advantage we hold in the region. Marketing campaigns focused on offering value platforms that appeal to lower income consumers and core menu items that drive Brand love as well as licenses and partnerships that keep McDonald's culturally relevant. The Brand experience continued to expand beyond our restaurants, bolstered by the region's most extensive digital platform and Loyalty Program. During the quarter, we added 19 new restaurants to our footprint and are already seeing opening costs per unit coming down thanks to more efficient capital deployment. Finally, 75% of our restaurants now offer guests the most modern experience available in the region's quick service restaurant industry."

Stock Futures Modestly Lower Following Fed Policy Decision

Stock futures are modestly lower following the Federal Reserve's latest policy decision as investors digest a more restrained outlook for rate cuts. The Fed left interest rates unchanged, as expected, but signaled a more patient approach toward easing, reflecting concern that recent volatility in energy prices could keep inflation elevated in the near term. While oil prices have stabilized after the extreme swings seen earlier in the month, crude is still trading at elevated levels following the geopolitical shock tied to the Middle East conflict. That persistence is enough to keep inflation expectations somewhat elevated, complicating the Fed's path and reinforcing its cautious stance on rate cuts.Equity markets are reacting accordingly, with a more subdued and selective tone emerging after the relief rallies earlier in the week. The shift in Fed messaging has taken some momentum out of risk assets, particularly in rate-sensitive sectors like technology, which had been benefiting from expectations of easier monetary policy.Currency and bond markets are also reflecting this recalibration, with yields stabilizing after recent volatility and the U.S. dollar holding firm as traders price in a slower pace of policy easing. Gold and silver are under pressure. Gold is down sharply from recent highs above $5,100, while silver is also off recent highs. In pre-market trading, S&P 500 futures fell 0.64%, Nasdaq futures fell 0.74% and Dow futures fell 0.62%.Check out this morning's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER -Align Technologyup 6% after BloombergElliott Investment Management has built a major stake and is planning to engage with the Invisalign maker to encourage it to explore ways to lift the company's stock priceRocket Labup 1% after the signing of a $190M contract for a block buy of 20 hypersonic test flights with its Haste launch vehicleUP AFTER EARNINGS -DLocalup 9%Five Belowup 6%Movadoup 3%Signet Jewelersup 1%DOWN AFTER EARNINGS -Canadian Solardown 22%Alibabadown 6%Dardendown 5%Microndown 5%Accenturedown 4%Arcos Doradosdown 2%
