Amrize Appoints Samuel J. Poletti as CFO
Amrize's board of directors has appointed Samuel J. Poletti as Chief Financial Officer, effective August 24. Poletti succeeds Baris Oran, who is stepping down for personal reasons. The company has also named Dillon Cumming as vice president of Investor Relations. Poletti has been a member of Amrize's Executive Committee as its Chief Strategy and M&A Officer since the company's listing on the NYSE in June 2025. Company Reports Q2 Revenue of $3.49B, Beating Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $3.49B, consensus $3.36B. Jan Jenisch, Chairman and CEO: "We delivered strong revenue growth of 8.6% in the second quarter driven by increased mega-project demand from data centers and energy to advanced manufacturing plants and infrastructure modernization. With the strength of our network and strategic footprint in the most attractive markets, we were able to achieve industry-leading organic growth of 6.7%. We also grew Net Income by 14.4% and Adjusted EBITDA by 5.8% with strong customer demand, continued aggregates pricing growth and ASPIRE savings. Oil price driven cost inflation drove higher freight, diesel and raw materials costs, which we are proactively managing with pricing, fuel surcharges and ASPIRE."
Amrize Acquires Rapid Redi-Mix
Amrize has entered into an agreement to acquire Rapid Redi-Mix. "Rapid Redi-Mix brings significant synergies with Amrize's aggregates operations and cement network in the region," the company said.
Amrize Launches $1 Billion Share Buyback Program
Amrize will start its previously announced share buyback program on May 6. The program has been authorized for a total of $1B until May 5, 2027, with the shares to be repurchased for the purpose of cancellation. The share buyback program will be executed on a second trading line on SIX Swiss Stock Exchange.
