York Space Systems Supports US Space Force Task Orders

York Space Systems shared additional details on two previously awarded task orders supporting the United States Space Force's, USSF, Space Data Network, SDN, effort. The awards support development and demonstration activities intended to advance multi-vendor interoperability and Space Exchange Point, SEP, integration planning. Under the task orders, also known as Delivery Order 2, DO2, York will support a multi-vendor interoperability demonstration with the SDN-Backbone, SDN-B, constellation. The effort will evaluate approaches for connecting spacecraft and ground elements through multiple data-exchange paths. Under Delivery Order 3, DO3, York will support Phase A of the Space Exchange Point on-orbit demonstration effort. Phase A will support the definition of spacecraft bus-to-payload interfaces and payload-integration planning associated with the SEP demonstration, including planning products to inform a potential subsequent on-orbit prototyping phase.

York Space Systems Opens 8,400 Sq Ft Office in Austin

York Space Systems announced the opening of a larger Austin office to support the growth of its software team. The new facility builds on York's investment in software, giving its Austin team more room to advance capabilities that are integral to its spacecraft platforms and an expanding range of national defense missions. The 8,400-square-foot office near Quarry Lake replaces York's previous space in North Hyde Park

York Space Systems Expands GEO Integration Portfolio

York Space Systems is expanding its prime integration portfolio into Geosynchronous Earth Orbit, GEO, with the U.S. Space Force's Tetra 3 and 4 missions, a Resident Space Object, RSO, and Rendezvous and Proximity Operations, RPO, demonstration supporting Space Domain Awareness, SDA, mission sets. York is prime contractor on Tetra 3 and 4, delivering a fully integrated sensor suite to a national security customer the company has not previously supported in this orbital regime. The missions have cleared their Delta Critical Design Review, dCDR, the customer's formal sign-off to proceed to build, and remain on track for spacecraft delivery in the fourth quarter of this year.
