York Space Systems Awarded USSF Space Data Network Contract

York Space Systems has been selected by the United States Space Force, USSF, for the Space Data Network Backbone, SDN-B, program. "We are proud to support the Space Data Network Backbone and the Space Force's vision for a resilient space-based architecture," said Dirk Wallinger, CEO of York. "This on-ramp award reflects performance we have already demonstrated on orbit and a manufacturing base built to deliver at scale. We are encouraged that the government remains committed to a resilient supply base for this architecture, which strengthens the industrial base and delivers better outcomes for the warfighter. Resilience is not something you can add on top of an architecture. It has to be designed in, and it starts with multiple vendors who have the proven ability to deliver large quantity production."

Major Averages Broadly Lower Near Noon

The major averages were broadly lower near noon as investors continue to balance easing inflation pressures and strong corporate earnings against renewed geopolitical risks. The inflation backdrop remains supportive for equities. July CPI and PPI both came in softer than expected, reducing concerns that the Federal Reserve will need to raise interest rates at its September meeting. PPI was unchanged in July after declining 0.1% in June, while the latest CPI data showed inflation continuing to moderate. The market is increasingly focused on whether the combination of cooling inflation and a weakening labor market will give the Fed room to ease policy later this year.Get caught up quickly on the top news and calls moving stocks with these five Top Five lists.1. York Space Systems Expects 2026 Revenue of $375M to $405M

York Space Systems "expects revenue for the full year 2026 to be in the range of $375 million to $405 million. The majority of the decrease in guidance is due to the removal of the new business revenue in 2026 given the shift in government acquisition methodologies. We are working on a pipeline of government opportunities worth $11.5 billion, across 12 potential customers. This analysis considers the next two years, and we only included opportunities from potential customers we have spoken to directly."
