Toro Company Appoints Edric C. Funk as CEO
The Toro Company announced a leadership transition as part of its long-term, succession planning process. On July 21, 2026, the company's board of directors elected president and chief operating officer Edric C. Funk to the position of president and chief executive officer, effective November 1, 2026. He will also join the board of directors, effective immediately. Funk will succeed Richard M. Olson, who will transition to the role of executive chairman of the board following more than four decades with the company, most recently as chief executive officer since 2016.

Reports Q2 revenue $1.425B, consensus $1.39B. "We grew adjusted earnings per share by double-digits once again in the second quarter. This was driven by strong demand across our portfolio and continued margin expansion from operational execution," said Richard Olson, chairman and chief executive officer. "The strength of our portfolio is based in the quality and performance of our products in attractive end markets which drives demand and ultimately the strong financial results delivered by the team in the second quarter. Combined with disciplined working capital management, this execution also supported another quarter of robust free cash flow and value creation for our shareholders through dividends and share repurchases."
