Halliburton Secures Several Contracts from Petrobras

Halliburton (HAL) announced that Petrobras (POBR) awarded multiple contracts to provide vessel stimulation, intelligent completions, and safety valves in Brazil's deepwater fields after a competitive process. In the Buzios field, Halliburton will deploy its SmartWell intelligent completion technology to enable reservoir management and actionable insights. For the Seepia and Atapu fields, Halliburton will provide EcoStar electric tubing retrievable safety valves to improve the safety and efficiency of this project. Additionally, Halliburton's Stim Star Brasil, tailored for Petrobras activity, will deliver stimulation services that focus on reservoir productivity. These contracts are expected to begin in 2026.

Baker Hughes to Provide Subsea Tree Systems and Services to Petrobras

Baker Hughes (BKR) announced a significant award from Petrobras (PBR) to supply up to 50 subsea tree systems and associated services to support offshore oil and gas production across multiple fields in Brazil. The award was secured through an open tender. Under the agreement, Baker Hughes will manufacture Petrobras' pre-salt standard subsea trees, as well as subsea distribution units, in-line tees and vertical connection systems, to enable safe, reliable and efficient production on the seafloor. In addition, topside control cabinets will provide monitoring and control of subsea equipment from floating production storage and offloading vessels. he project will commence procurement and manufacturing in the third quarter of 2025.

SLB Secures Contract with Petrobras for Up to 35 Ultra-Deepwater Wells

SLB (SLB) announced a contract from Petrobras (PBR) to provide services and technology for up to 35 ultra-deepwater wells in the strategically important Santos Basin. The wells, which are part of the second development of the Atapu and Sepia fields, target massive pockets of oil and gas beneath thick salt layers, located up to 2,000 meters below the ocean's surface. As part of its project scope, SLB will deploy advanced electric completions technologies and digital solutions that deliver precise, real-time production intelligence and improved reservoir management to optimally produce these valuable and hard-to-access resources.
