Murphy Oil Appoints Michol Ecklund as Chief Legal Officer

Murphy Oil announced the appointment of Michol Ecklund as senior VP, chief legal officer and corporate secretary of the company, effective August 31. In this role, Ecklund will oversee Murphy's legal, compliance, governance, government affairs, land, sustainability and risk management functions and serve as a member of Murphy's executive leadership team. Most recently, she served as executive VP and general counsel of Anew Climate. Ecklund will report directly to Eric Hambly, president and CEO.

Tech Stocks Weighed Down, Nasdaq Falls Over 1%
