TriLink BioTechnologies Granted New Patent in China
TriLink BioTechnologies, a Maravai LifeSciences company, has been granted a new patent from the China National Intellectual Property Administration, Patent number ZL 2025 1 1246578.X, covering methods of synthesizing RNA molecules. The new patent covers TriLink's full suite of CleanCap capping analogs, including its latest M6 analog. CleanCap technology is a component of the production of synthetic mRNA as drug developers and researchers strive to maximize the impact of mRNA-based therapeutics and vaccines. The allowed claims are directed to co-transcriptional RNA synthesis methods utilizing either trimer or tetramer capping structures.
Maravai LifeSciences Opens GMP Enzyme Manufacturing Facility in Florida
TriLink, part of Maravai LifeSciences, announced the opening of its GMP enzyme manufacturing facility in Jupiter, Florida, designed to help RNA therapeutic developers simplify sourcing and scale production more efficiently. The facility supports a coordinated supply of key RNA manufacturing and IVT workflow materials from early research through commercial production.
Maravai LifeSciences Secures $150M Loan Agreement
Maravai LifeSciences Holdings announced that certain of its subsidiaries have entered into a new credit agreement providing the Company with a $150M term loan facility and a $30M revolving credit facility. Borrowings under the new term loan facility, together with approximately $98.5M of cash on hand, were used to prepay outstanding borrowings under the Company's prior credit agreement due October 2027. The transaction reduces the Company's long-term debt from approximately $242.9M in aggregate outstanding principal to $150M in aggregate outstanding principal and extends the term loan maturity date to June 2032 while maintaining access to additional liquidity through the revolving credit facility.
Maravai Adjusts 2026 EBITDA Guidance to $30.0M to $32.0M
Adjusted EBITDA (non-GAAP) is now expected to be in the range of $30.0 million to $32.0 million, up from the prior range of $18.0 million to $20.0 million. Maravai's financial guidance for the full year 2026 is based on expectations for its existing business and does not include the financial impact of potential new acquisitions, if any, or items that have not yet been identified or quantified.
