Stock Futures Broadly Higher, Oil Prices Slip
Stock futures were broadly higher while crude oil futures were slipping in what appears to be a continuation of Monday's regular trading hour trends. The major indexes began the weeke and month with a wining session as easing tensions in the Middle East sent oil prices sharply lower.Meanwhile, earnings season remains a catalyst, with investors digeseting results from Palantir after Monday's close, followed later this week by reports from AMD, McDonald's, Pfizer, Eli Lilly, Disney and Uber. The market is also preparing for SpaceX's first earnings report since its public listing.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -Backblazeup 18.7%Ibottaup 17.9%Jeld-Wenup 16.7%Voyager Technologisup 16.5%Medifastup 15.9%Palantirup 14.1%Inspire Medicalup 12.6%Snapup 7.7%On Semiconductorup 7.3%DOWN AFTER EARNINGS -ClearPointdown 14.6%Powell Industriesdown 13.5%Ichor Holdingsdown 11.5%Better Home & Financedown 10.8%BWX Technologiesdown 4.4%

Escalating Geopolitical Tensions in the Middle East Increase Market Volatility
Escalating geopolitical tension in the Middle East, with Iran claiming that two missiles have struck a U.S. naval ship and President Trump refusing to acknowledge that a ceasefire is holding, has re-introduced heightened volatility in risk assets to start the week. All major indices were down in Monday's trade with Energy being the only S&P 500 sector to end the day in positive territory as WTI Crude Oil jumping above $107 a barrel. Materials and Industrials were the worst-performing sectors, with investors also having sold U.S. Treasuries amid ongoing concerns of higher energy costs feeding into elevated inflation - the yield on the 10-year was above 4.4% and that of the 30-year exceeded the 5% mark.Unlike last week, where strong results and constructive earnings call commentary from mega-cap tech revived positive sentiment afterhours, Monday's evening session is more subdued, with S&P E-Mini's flat and Nasdaq 100 contract down a decimal. In precious metals, the second consecutive session of gains in the US Dollar has pressured gold and silver below $4,530 and $74 per ounce respectively. WTI Oil is off the highs but still above $105 per barrel.Check out this evening's top movers from around Wall Street, compiled by The Fly.HIGHER AFTER EARNINGS -Backblazeup 45.3%Sterling Infrastructureup 21.3%EverQuoteup 17.0%Pinterestup 15.2%V2X, Inc.up 12.6%Sonosup 5.5%Grab Holdingsup 2.2%Paramount Skydanceup 1.8%ALSO HIGHER -Fidelity National Informationup 6.0% after announcing Agentic AI partnership with AnthropicDOWN AFTER EARNINGS -GeneDx Holdingsdown 38.6%Ichor Holdingsdown 13.8%Duolingodown 12.7%Fabrinetdown 10.8%Advanced Energy Industriesdown 8.5%On Semidown 4.2%Palantirdown 3.0%Vertex Pharmaceuticalsdown 1.1%ALSO LOWER -Viatrisdown 4.6% after disclosing CFO transition
Ichor Reports Q1 Revenue of $256.1M, Beating Expectations
Reports Q1 revenue $256.1M, consensus $251.3M. "Within a strengthening demand environment, we are pleased to report Q1 results at the upper end of our expectations for revenues, gross margin, and earnings per share due to strong operational execution by our team," commented Phil Barros, Ichor's CEO. "Revenues of $256 million increased 15% sequentially, a strong start to what we expect will be a sustained industry upcycle driven by structural technology transitions and strategic capacity investments in wafer fabrication equipment. The early investments we made in ramping labor headcount and pre-positioning inventory are enabling Ichor to deliver strong execution for our customers and achieve revenue growth toward the high end of our demand forecast. With customer delivery timelines accelerating, our outlook for the second quarter reflects our expectation for another strong quarter of sequential improvement spanning revenues, gross margin, and earnings per share. We continue to drive the strategic, operational and technological priorities for Ichor that we expect will enable continued gross margin expansion and significant earnings leverage as revenues ramp through the year, and into 2027."
