Company Reports Q2 Revenue of $3.5B, Beating Expectations
Reports Q2 revenue $3.5B, consensus $3.37B. "We delivered strong sales performance and margin improvement in the second quarter, driven by sustained momentum across our businesses and solid operational execution by the team. Internal local currency sales growth accelerated compared to the first quarter, which, combined with strong gross margins and the early benefits from our value creation initiatives, drove strong earnings growth," said CEO Fred Lowery. "Our first-half performance and the sustained momentum have positioned us to raise our FY2026 guidance. Our value creation plans remain a top focus for our team, and we are on track to achieve our goals. As we sharpen our focus, our priorities ahead are accelerating growth, simplifying our business, driving operational rigor, and further deepening our customer relationships, all of which we believe will create sustainable shareholder value".
Henry Schein Establishes Leadership Team, Restructures Executive Management
Henry Schein announced that it is creating the Henry Schein Leadership Team, HSLT, to replace its Executive Management Committee. The Company will also integrate its global supply chain organization with its global distribution group. The new leadership structure will continue to develop the Company's strategic priorities, accelerate its execution, and enhance enterprise collaboration. In addition, Michael Ettinger, the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, Mark Mlotek, the Company's Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer, and James Mullins, the Company's Senior Vice President, Global Supply Chain, will transition out of their roles effective October 30, 2026. Ettinger, Mlotek, and Mullins will continue in their roles until October 30th, and thereafter will remain as Senior Advisors to the Company.
Henry Schein Partners with GoTu Technology for Dental Staffing Solutions
Henry Schein and GoTu Technology, a dental talent marketplace, announced a new strategic partnership designed to help dental practices address ongoing staffing challenges and maintain continuity of patient care. Through this collaboration between GoTu and Henry Schein Dental Recruitment Services, a division of Henry Schein Financial Enterprises, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Henry Schein, dental practices will gain expanded access to GoTu's technology-enabled platform, which connects offices with qualified dental hygienists, dental assistants, and associate dentists for both temporary and permanent staffing needs. GoTu will now be part of Henry Schein Dental Recruitment Services, which offers a range of services from permanent placement solutions to enterprise-level Recruitment Process Outsourcing.
Henry Schein Appoints Daniel as Independent Chairman of the Board
Henry Schein announced that its Board of Directors has elected William "Dan" Daniel as Independent Chairman of the Board. Daniel succeeds Stanley Bergman, who retired from the Board following 44 years as a Director of Henry Schein and was named Chairman Emeritus. Daniel joined the Henry Schein Board of Directors in May 2025.
