#Gate Derivatives Market Share Growth Ranks First Globally. CoinDesk September Report: Gate's derivatives trading volume reached $396.4 billion (+38.2% month-over-month), surpassing Byb and ranking third globally, with a market share of 10.1% (the largest increase among top global exchanges); its RWA perpetual contract share also ranked in the top three at 9.1%. The data looks impressive, but as a user of eight years, let me be direct: trading volume is the "result," not the "cause" — whether an exchange can continue to attract traders depends on liquidity, experience, and innovation. They are not an "either-or" choice, but a "trinity": liquidity determines whether users dare to come, experience determines whether users are willing to stay, and innovation determines whether users will come back. Step one: Liquidity — the ticket that determines whether users "dare to come" 💧 Retail traders look at the order book, large traders look at depth. Whether your order can be filled instantly, whether slippage is severe during sharp moves, and whether perpetual contract coverage is comprehensive enough — these are the exchange's "foundation." Gate ranks high in share growth this time precisely because "liquidity follows users": its number of covered perpetual contracts ranks first in the industry, and its RWA perpetual contract share reached 9.1%, ranking in the top three — first there must be a pool, then there can be fish. Step two: Trading experience — the key to whether users are "willing to stay" Even if market conditions are good, one lag or one extra second waiting for a match is enough to drive people away. My real experience is: gas-free trading, one-click and a smooth order book — it is these "unremarkable" features that keep users. On an exchange with a good experience, users will "be too lazy to leave"; on an exchange with a bad experience, users will "wait for a chance to leave." Step three: Innovative products — the reason users "will come back" Why can long-time users like me stay for eight years? Because Gate keeps developing new things: Launchpool, Idle Money/Coin Savings, Polymarket predictions, and Gate Money — putting crypto, stocks, gold, and banking into the same account... When an exchange has a "next new thing," users have a "reason to come back." This derivatives growth also reflects the impact of innovative products. My ranking (personal view): liquidity > experience > innovation — because liquidity is the "1," while experience and innovation are the "0s" after it: without deep liquidity, even the best features are just decoration; but with only liquidity and without the latter two, it is also impossible to retain "smart money." Ranking third in trading volume is a "report card," but trader loyalty is "fluid" — Gate has proven this time that it can "fight a hard battle"; the next step is whether it can "retain users." As a long-time user, my vote is: continue strengthening the "liquidity + experience + innovation" trio, and the ranking will naturally follow. Which point do you value most? 🚨 Data Week: CPI, PPI, and Warsh's Speech With inflation data and Fed officials' comments shaping rate expectations, markets may face a volatile week. 📊 CPI: Higher-than-expected inflation could pressure Bitcoin, crypto, and gold as rate-cut hopes fade. A softer reading could support risk assets. 📈 PPI: Producer inflation will offer another clue on price pressures and the potential path of consumer inflation. 🎙️ Fed Chair Warsh's speech: Markets will watch for clues on monetary policy, inflation risks, and the future rate path. Key points to watch: • High inflation + hawkish Fed = possible pressure on BTC and risk assets. • Low inflation + dovish signals = possible relief rally. • Mixed signals = two-way volatility and false breakouts. My view: Don't trade on headlines alone. Watch the gap between actual data and expectations, US Treasury yields, and the dollar's reaction. The key question isn't just how the data looks, but how the Fed may respond. #CPI #inflation #FedWatch #cryptomarket $BTC $ETH $XAUt
