Cohen & Steers Appoints Erik Schneberger as Chief Marketing Officer
Cohen & Steers announced the appointment of Erik Schneberger as Executive Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer. Based in New York, Schneberger will lead the firm's global marketing department, overseeing all marketing initiatives across distribution channels and regions worldwide. Schneberger reports to Daniel Noonan, Executive Vice President, Head of Global Distribution. Schneberger joins Cohen & Steers with over 20 years of marketing experience, building and leading award-winning marketing organizations at some of the industry's most recognized investment firms. He most recently served as Chief Marketing Officer of American Century Investments and has also held marketing leadership roles at OppenheimerFunds, Neuberger Berman and Morgan Stanley.
Cohen & Steers Appoints Amit Muni as CFO
Cohen & Steers announced that Amit Muni has been appointed as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective June 8, 2026. Mr. Muni will lead the firm's financial operations, financial strategy and investor relations. He will join the firm's Executive Committee and report to Joseph Harvey, Chief Executive Officer.
Cohen & Steers Appoints Amit Muni as CFO
Cohen & Steers has appointed Amit Muni as EVP and CFO, effective June 8. He will join the firm's Executive Committee and report to Joseph Harvey, CEO. Muni succeeds Michael Donohue, who has been serving as Interim CFO since October 17, 2025. Donohue will remain Interim CFO until June 8, 2026, after which time he will continue in his role as Controller. Muni joins the firm from CI Financial, where he served as CFO of the Canadian-based wealth and asset management firm. Prior to joining CI Financial Corp. in 2021, he was CFO at WisdomTree. Muni's experience also includes senior finance and accounting roles at the International Securities Exchange, Instinet Group, PricewaterhouseCoopers and National Securities Clearing Corporation.
Cohen & Steers Partners with JPMorgan to Offer Short Duration Hybrid Credit Fund
Cohen & Steers (CNS) announced a partnership with JPMorgan (JPM) to provide investors outside the United States access to the Cohen & Steers SICAV Short Duration Hybrid Credit & Income Fund across JPMorgan's global wealth management platform. The fund seeks to provide high current income through investments in global hybrid credit securities, targeting a weighted average duration of less than three years. Cohen & Steers stated the partnership highlights a broader industry shift toward greater diversification within fixed income portfolio allocations.
Cohen & Steers Assets Under Management Rise to $100.1B
Cohen & Steers reported preliminary assets under management of $100.1B as of April 30, an increase of $7B from assets under management of $93.1B at March 31. The increase was due to market appreciation of $6.4B and net inflows of $701M, partially offset by distributions of $152M.
