Cimpress Acquires CEWE's SAXOPRINT and viaprinto Businesses
Cimpress has signed a definitive agreement with CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA to purchase its SAXOPRINT and viaprinto businesses. Through this tuck-in acquisition, Cimpress will grow its manufacturing capabilities in Germany, and will also welcome two new customer-focused brands into its PrintBrothers segment of upload and print businesses. SAXOPRINT, based in Dresden, Germany, serves business customers and is known for its high-quality low-cost production capabilities for flyers, booklets, brochures, catalogs and magazines. viaprinto, based in Munster, Germany, is a reseller known for serving business customers through an intuitive user experience and value-added services. Collectively, these businesses generated EUR 89.6M in revenue in calendar year 2025 with approximately 10% EBITDA margins. The acquisition is subject to customary closing conditions, including antitrust approval, and is expected to close in the first half of Cimpress' FY2027. Leadership team members of Cimpress' PrintBrothers segment are expected to co-invest alongside Cimpress and purchase a minority ownership interest in these acquired businesses equivalent to their interest in the other PrintBrothers segment businesses.

Reports Q3 revenue $886.2M, two estimates $859M. The company states: "Cimpress delivered a strong third quarter of FY2026: adjusted EBITDA grew 11% versus last year and surpassed $100 million for the first time in a Q3 period. Revenue and adjusted EBITDA growth outpaced our previously increased annual guidance; therefore we are again raising FY2026 revenue and profit guidance. We are strengthening the value we deliver to customers, increasing operational efficiency and accelerating the velocity with which we drive these improvements."
Meta and IBM Shares Rise 7% After Earnings
US equity futures are mixed in the opening hour of the evening session as markets digest corporate earnings out of Big Tech - Metaand IBMare faring the best out of high-profile names, both gaining 7% afterhours, while Microsoftis slipping despite topping estimates following in-line guide given on the earnings call. Teslawas up mid-single-digits on earnings, though shares had pared some gains afterhours as the company indicated that 2026 capex would dwarf last year, calling 2026 a "new book" rather than a "new chapter" for the company. Dow Industrials futures are down 0.3%, S&P e-minis are off by 0.2%, and Nasdaq 100 futures are slipping by 0.1%.Precious metals continue to soar in the wake of US Dollar weakness sustained further by the FOMC decision featuring two dovish dissenters. Gold is now above $5,500 while Silver trades north of $118 per ounce.
