Cemtrex's Vicon Industries Secures $2.8M Orders
Cemtrex announced that its Vicon Industries subsidiary has received orders totaling approximately $2.8M in the current fiscal quarter from a U.S. federal government agency, through an existing channel partner, for its video surveillance products and Valerus video management platform. The orders are expected to ship in the current fiscal quarter. The awards reflect continued expansion of Vicon's business with federal government customers, following the approximately $2M correctional facility order in the United Kingdom announced in May, and underscore sustained institutional and public-sector demand for the Valerus platform. Separately, Vicon released Valerus 26.1, a major update to its video management software. The release introduces GPU-accelerated video processing, delivering smoother, faster streaming and forward and reverse playback at speeds up to 1000x directly in the browser.

Cemtrex Secures $1.2 Million Industrial Installation Contract
Cemtrex announced that its Advanced Industrial Services subsidiary has been awarded a $1.2 million industrial installation contract and is providing a business update following its recently reported fiscal first quarter 2026 results. Saagar Govil, Chairman and CEO of Cemtrex, commented: "Our Industrial segment continues to see consistent demand for installation and infrastructure projects. At the same time, we have taken steps to reduce costs within the Security segment, implemented pricing adjustments, and expanded the platform through the acquisitions of Invocon and Richland. Our focus remains on improving operating performance as these actions take effect and as the recently acquired businesses begin contributing to results."
Cemtrex Cash and Cash Equivalents Up 312% to $20.5M
Cash and cash equivalents increased 312% to $20.5M, compared to the prior year of $5M. Cemtrex chairman and CEO, Saagar Govil, commented on the results: "Fiscal Q1 2026 was a quarter of decisive action. We strengthened our balance sheet, delivered continued revenue growth driven by our Industrial segment. Operating loss for the quarter was $2.8 million, compared to $2.3 million in the prior year period, primarily reflecting lower gross margin in Security and certain one-time expenses, including a write-off of obsolete demo equipment and elevated legal and transaction costs related to acquisition activity and other matters. Excluding these non-recurring items, our focus remains on improving segment contribution and lowering the run-rate cost structure."
