SpaceX in Talks with Crown Castle to Establish 80,000 Cell Sites
SpaceX (SPCX) is seeking to secure at least 80,000 cell sites across the U.S. and is in talks with Crown Castle (CCI) to achieve that goal, Bloomberg's Kelcee Griffis reports, citing people familiar with the matter. The pacts would solidify the rocket and satellite giant's path towards establishing a fourth nationwide wireless carrier, the author says. Crown Castle is among the largest owners of cellular towers, along with American Tower (AMT) and Vertical Bridge. Publicly traded wireless carriers include Verizon (VZ), AT&T (T), and T-Mobile (TMUS).

Crown Castle Raises FY26 Adjusted EBITDA Outlook to $2.72B
Raises FY26 adjusted EBITDA view to $2.72B from $2.69B. "We are increasing our full year 2026 guide for Adjusted EBITDA by $25 million and AFFO by $5 million to reflect higher ground lease buyout activity, additional operational efficiencies, and the impact of a customer agreement," said Sunit Patel, Crown Castle's CFO. "In the quarter we acquired an outstanding residual economic interest on a subset of our tower sites and extended the term of a significant customer on those sites. We ended the third quarter with a strong balance sheet, including 97% fixed rate debt, a weighted average debt maturity of approximately 7 years, and approximately $3.9 billion of availability under our revolving credit facility."
