Avidbank Appoints Jonathan Dale as President
Avidbank Holdings announced the appointment of Jonathan Dale as the Bank's President, who will also serve as the Company's President, effective August 3, 2026. Dale will report to the Company's and the Bank's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Mark Mordell.
Avidbank Adds Executives to Drive Long-Term Growth
The company said, "Avidbank is pleased to announce the addition of strategic hires across key business lines as the bank continues to invest in its long-term growth initiatives. Our Corporate Banking division has recently hired Joe Cook, and Matt Garrity and Shane Weissman have joined Venture Lending. Joe Cook joined as Senior Vice President to strengthen Avidbank's Bay Area presence serving small- to mid-sized businesses. He brings more than 20 years of commercial banking experience San Francisco Bay area, with a focus on C&I and owner-occupied real estate. The addition of both Matt Garrity and Shane Weissman, who are based in New York City, will help expand Avidbank's Venture Lending presence on the east coast. Mr. Garrity joins as Senior Vice President and has over 20 years of banking experience. Mr. Weissman is joining as Vice President and has over 10 years' experience in venture banking."
Company Reports Q4 Net Income of $24.9M
Reports Q4 net income $24.9M, consensus $25.97M. Reports Q4 book value per share $25.66, an increase of $2.45 vs. last year. "We closed 2025 with a strong quarter as well as significant momentum and a clear trajectory for 2026," said Mark Mordell, chairman and CEO. "Our fourth quarter performance was driven by all five of our verticals in both loans and deposits. We achieved this through the dedication and resilience of our bankers and employees."
Avidbank Holdings opened earlier at $23, IPO priced at $23 per share
Avidbank Holdings, a California corporation and the bank holding company for Avidbank, a California state-chartered bank, priced its initial public offering of 2.61M shares of its common stock at a public offering price of $23.00 per share. The deal priced at the midpoint of the $22.00-$24.00 target range. Piper Sandler and Stephens are acting as joint book running managers for the offering.
