Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of New Braunfels, Texas-based Mund Group. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Mund Group is an employee benefits agency that provides benefits consulting and health and welfare program solutions to businesses in Texas. Jeff Mund, Brandon Mund, Kristopher Mund and their team will remain in their current location under the direction of Leah Vetter, head of Gallagher's Central region employee benefits consulting operations.
Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Intelligent Communications Experiences
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced the acquisition of Melbourne, Victoria-based Intelligent Communications Experiences. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Intelligent Communications Experiences helps businesses in Australia develop and deliver digital employee communications. The Intelligent Communications Experiences team, led by Chris Cansfield, Steve Mann, Glyn Wallens and Kevin McDougall, will operate under the direction of Graham Campbell, head of Gallagher's employee benefits and HR consulting operations in Australia and New Zealand.

Arthur J. Gallagher Acquires Ornella Underwriting in Ireland
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. announced that its specialist underwriting subsidiary Pen Underwriting has acquired Wexford, Ireland-based Ornella Underwriting Limited. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. Ornella is a managing general agent providing a diverse range of commercial and personal insurance coverages across Ireland through its network of independent broker partners, with particular expertise in private car, van, home and motor fleet. The business will become part of Pen Underwriting, and Paul Whelan will continue to lead the team from its current location under the direction of Michael Doyle, head of Pen Underwriting's operations in Ireland.
