Zapico Adjusts 2026 EPS Guidance to $8.20-$8.30
Consensus $8.15. "For 2026, we now expect overall sales to be up approximately 10% versus 2025. Adjusted earnings per diluted share are now expected to be in the range of $8.20 to $8.30, up 10% to 12% over the comparable basis for 2025. This is an increase from our prior guidance range of $7.94 to $8.14 per diluted share reflecting our strong underlying performance and outlook for the balance of the year," Zapico added.
Zapico Expects High Single-Digit Sales Growth in Q3 2026
"For the third quarter of 2026, overall sales are expected to be up high single digits on a percentage basis compared to the third quarter of 2025. Adjusted earnings in the quarter are anticipated to be in the range of $2.08 to $2.10 per share, up 10% to 11% compared to the third quarter of 2025," concluded Zapico.
AMETEK Reports Q2 Revenue of $2.04B
Reports Q2 revenue $2.04B, consensus $1.96B. "AMETEK delivered superb results in the second quarter. Strong organic sales growth, contributions from recent acquisitions, and outstanding operating performance led to high-teens earnings growth, excellent 110 basis points of core margin expansion and record operating performance," stated David A. Zapico, AMETEK Chairman and Chief Executive Officer. "Notably, for the second quarter in a row, orders were exceptional, growing 28% in the quarter."
Ametek to Acquire Indicor Instrumentation Business for $5 Billion
Ametek announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire a portfolio of instrumentation businesses from Indicor in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $5B. Indicor Instrumentation is a group of businesses that design and manufacture solutions for industrial and scientific applications. Indicor Instrumentation generates approximately $1.1B in annual sales and has profitability levels consistent with Ametek. Following closing of the transaction, the businesses will be integrated into Ametek's Electronic Instruments Group and Electromechanical Group based on product offerings and market alignment. Ametek plans to fund the acquisition through borrowings under its existing credit facility and new debt issuance. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions, including applicable regulatory approvals, and is expected to close in the second half of 2026.
