Regeneron Canada Receives Approval for Libtayo in High-Risk Skin SCC
Regeneron Canada announced that Health Canada has issued a Notice of Compliance for Libtayo for the adjuvant treatment of adult patients with cutaneous squamous cell carcinoma at high risk of recurrence after surgery and radiation. "The approval of this new indication for cemiplimab demonstrates continued advancement in the management of high-risk CSCC in Canada as the first and only positive, randomized trial evaluating adjuvant treatment for this disease. The highly significant and clinically meaningful hazard ratio of 0.32 offers clinicians a new option to address the needs of patients," said Dr. Marcus Butler, Melanoma/Skin Oncology Site Lead, Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Biohaven Enters Clinical Supply Agreement with Regeneron
Biohaven (BHVN) has entered into a clinical supply agreement with Regeneron Pharmaceuticals (REGN) to evaluate the combination of BHV-1530 and cemiplimab, or Libtayo, in patients with solid tumors based upon the emerging monotherapy clinical data and preclinical data demonstrating synergistic activity between BHV-1530 and immune therapy. BHV-1530's TopoIx payload has been demonstrated to generate immunogenic cell death and stimulate an antitumor immune response, providing a compelling mechanistic rationale for combination with checkpoint inhibition. This agreement builds upon the existing clinical supply agreement between Biohaven and Regeneron for BHV-1510, a next-generation TROP2-directed ADC, further deepening the collaborative relationship between the two companies across Biohaven's oncology pipeline.
