Honeywell Launches Forge Cognition Autonomous AI Platform

Honeywell Technologies introduced Forge Cognition, a self-contained agentic AI and simulation platform for facility operations across a range of physical environments. "The physical world demands more than a powerful AI model. It requires AI to understand how systems actually operate and interact-that is where the next breakthrough is happening," said Suresh Venkatarayalu, Chief Technology Officer, Honeywell Technologies. "Forge Cognition combines AI with operational context and engineering expertise, opening a new era of intelligent operations where AI can analyze, recommend and act alongside people."

Dangote Selects Honeywell for Kenya Refinery Technology

Dangote Petroleum Refinery and Petrochemicals FZE has selected Honeywell Technologies to provide process technologies, licensing, engineering services, proprietary catalysts, equipment and digital solutions for its planned 700,000 barrel-per-day refinery in Kenya. Once complete, the facility is expected to become the world's largest single-train refinery. The project builds on nearly a decade of collaboration between the two companies and leverages proven engineering designs that Honeywell Technologies developed for Dangote's refinery in Lekki, Nigeria. Dangote's ability to draw upon these established designs will help reduce the development schedule for the new facility by nearly two years - nearly 30% sooner than typical newly constructed facilities. The Kenya facility will leverage Honeywell Technologies' refining and petrochemical processing solutions to produce gasoline, diesel, jet fuel and polypropylene. The refinery will have the flexibility to process a wide variety of crude oils, from light to heavy grades, enabling the use of feedstocks sourced from multiple regions and reducing reliance on any single supply source. Similar to the refinery in Lekki, Nigeria, the Honeywell Technologies project scope for the Kenya refinery is expected to be approximately $300M.

Honeywell Deploys Modern Access Control Platform for U.S. Marine Corps

Honeywell Technologies announced the successful deployment of a modernized access control platform for the U.S. Marine Corps that helps secure barracks facilities. Managed and supported by the U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic team, the program utilizes Honeywell Technologies' LenelS2 OnGuard access control system. It provides a scalable, centralized platform designed to enhance security, improve operational efficiency and support the Marine Corps' long-term Barracks 2030 modernization initiative.
