Federal Agricultural Mortgage announces Q3 core EPS of $4.52, surpassing consensus estimate of $4.47
Reports Q3 revenue $105.9M vs. $91.53M last year. "I'm pleased to announce we've once again achieved record net effective spread and core earnings in the third quarter," said CEO Brad Nordholm. "We delivered strong business volume growth, surpassing $31B for the quarter, building on the momentum established in our record first half of the year. Federal Agricultural Mortgage CEO Bradford Nordholm to Step Down, COO to Take Over
Federal Agricultural Mortgage announced the planned retirement of its CEO Bradford Nordholm on March 31, 2027. Farmer Mac also announced that its Board of Directors has appointed Zachary Carpenter, currently EVP- Chief Business Officer, as President and COO, effective immediately, and has named Carpenter as the successor to Nordholm upon his retirement. In this role, Carpenter will take on expanded responsibility while continuing to work with the executive team and Nordholm. Nordholm was appointed as Farmer Mac's President and CEO in October 2018. Carpenter joined Farmer Mac in May 2019 after roles at Johnson & Johnson, Goldman Sachs, and CoBank.
Geraldine Hayhurst Appointed CLO of Federal Agricultural Mortgage
Federal Agricultural Mortgage announced the selection of Geraldine Hayhurst as Executive Vice President - Chief Legal Officer and Secretary, starting September 8, 2025. Current Executive Vice President - General Counsel and Secretary, Stephen Mullery, will retire on April 3, 2026 after 25 years of service. "It's been my honor and privilege to have contributed to Farmer Mac's growth and impact over the past 25 years. While there's never a perfect moment to step away from a place that means so much to me, now is the right time for my family and me to begin my transition to retirement," Mr. Mullery said. "Farmer Mac has been far more than just a job or a workplace to me-it's been a mission, a community, and a source of pride woven into the fabric of my life. I'm grateful to have worked alongside so many talented, passionate colleagues who bring our mission to life every day. I'm looking forward to serving as an advisor to Geraldine and am committed to supporting her transition. Farmer Mac's future is bright, and I'm confident that this exceptional team will lead the company to continued success."

"I'm very pleased to report that we delivered record results across the board in second quarter 2025, growing core earnings and net effective spread by 19% and 12% year-over-year, respectively, and surpassing $30 billion in total outstanding business volume for the first time," said CEO Brad Nordholm. "Our total portfolio is well diversified by both commodity and geography, and we remain confident in the overall health of our business.
