Vontier Completes Teletrac Navman Sale Valued at $220M
Vontier Corporation announced the completion of the previously announced sale of a majority of Teletrac Navman, its global fleet management, telematics and asset management business. As previously disclosed, the total transaction is valued at $220M including cash proceeds to Vontier of approximately $80M. In anticipation of these proceeds and consistent with its stated capital allocation policy, Vontier has completed share repurchases of $130M during the second quarter. Financial results for the Teletrac business have historically been reported within the Mobility Technologies segment of Vontier and will now be excluded from continuing operations as of the completion date - June 30.
Driivz Partners with Iberdrola bp to Manage 2,500 Chargers
Driivz, a Vontier (VNT) company, announced a strategic partnership with Iberdrola bp (BP) pulse to "manage and optimize its network of 2,500 fast and ultra-fast chargers," the company said. The Driivz software platform will provide Iberdrola bp pulse with an embedded layer of analytics across its network, delivering real-time visibility and actionable insight on availability, uptime, hardware performance and charging patterns.
Vontier Appoints Cameron Richardson as Group President of Repair Solutions
Vontier announced the appointment of Cameron Richardson as Group President of its Repair Solutions business segment leading Matco Tools. Most recently, Richardson served as Senior Vice President of Store Operations at NAPA Auto Parts.
Vontier's Board Approves Share Repurchase Authorization Increase to $1B
Vontier's Board of Directors has approved an increase to its share repurchase authorization pursuant to which the Company may repurchase up to $1B of Vontier shares effective on May 19. The program increases Vontier's existing $500M authorization approved April 30, 2025, under which there was approximately $165M remaining as of May 15. Year-to-date, the Company has completed $105M in share repurchases and expects to deploy a majority of its adjusted free cash flow in 2026 to further repurchases, including at least $125M in the second quarter.
