Result Rules
This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 midterm Idaho U.S. Senate election, inclusive of any run-offs.
A candidate shall be considered to represent a party in the event that he or she is the nominee of the party in question. Candidates other than the Democratic or Republican nominee (e.g., Greens, Libertarian, independent) may be added at a later date.
Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party.
The candidates may be named in the contract for the convenience of traders. In the event that any named candidate is replaced as the nominee of their respective party prior to election day, the name in the contract will be updated and the market will resolve based on the replacement nominee of the party.
The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race in this state for the same candidate, this market will resolve based on the official certification.
AI Valuation Analysis: Finding Market Mispricings & EV Gaps
While human consensus and speculative volume shape the broader prediction market, our quantitative algorithms offer a data-driven counter-perspective. By analyzing fundamental signals, underlying trends and historical distributions, our AI Valuation model calculates an independent “Fair Value” probability for each outcome.
Comparing this Fair Value against the current Trade Value uncovers major disparities — known as the Expected Value (EV) Gap. Contracts with a positive EV Gap represent statistically underpriced outcomes, whereas a negative EV Gap flags a potential market overreaction.
Top AI Alpha & Mispriced Arbitrage Opportunities
Based on the latest data model run, several key contracts stand out with significant deviations:
- The Most Overvalued Outcome Jim Risch (R) currently trades at 94%, but our AI places its Fair Value at just 80.8%. This creates a large negative EV Gap of -13.1%, suggesting the crowd may be overhyping this outcome and driving the premium too high.
- The Best Value Play (Highest EV) Our model identifies Democrat as the premium value opportunity on the board. While the market only assigns it a 0.1% trading probability, our AI’s Fair Value assessment sits at 6.1% — yielding an impressive +6% EV Gap.
- Under-the-Radar Dark Horses Other notable discrepancies include Todd Achilles (I) (EV Gap: +0.4%). These long-tail opportunities are heavily discounted by the live order books despite stronger statistical backing from our predictive model.
| Market | Trade Value | Fair Value | EV Gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Jim Risch (R) | 94.0% | 80.8% | -13.1% |
| Todd Achilles (I) | 6.2% | 6.5% | +0.4% |
| DemocratBest EV | 0.1% | 6.0% | +6.0% |

Frequently Asked Questions
What is the current market consensus on "Idaho Senate Election Winner"?
As of the latest update, Jim Risch (R) leads the field as the frontrunner with a 94% win probability, followed by Todd Achilles (I) at 6.2% and Democrat at 0.1%. Total trading volume for this pool has reached $84.1K, indicating deep liquidity and high trader engagement.
How does the AI Fair Value differ from the live Market Trade Value?
The live Market Trade Value reflects public sentiment, order-book momentum and speculative capital. Our AI Fair Value is computed independently with quantitative models that strip out hype to focus on underlying data. When the two diverge, it creates an EV Gap, flagging where the market may be mispricing an outcome.
Which outcome represents the highest Expected Value (EV) right now?
Our latest run flags Democrat as the most significant mispricing. While the market trades it at a 0.1% implied probability, our AI calculates a Fair Value of 6.1% — an Expected Value gap of +6%, making it the premium value play in this pool.
Is the market consensus overreacting to any specific outcome?
Yes — our data suggests a notable overreaction around Jim Risch (R). The crowd has pushed its live Trade Value up to 94%, yet our Fair Value assessment puts its real likelihood at just 80.8%, a negative EV Gap of -13.1% that signals the contract is overpriced.
Are there any high-value dark horse options hidden in the long-tail data?
Absolutely. Beyond the headline outcomes, our model highlights under-the-radar potential in lower-ranked options. Todd Achilles (I) holds a positive EV Gap of +0.4%. These contracts are discounted by live order books despite stronger quantitative backing.
