Thumzup Media to Change Name to Datacentrex, Inc.
Thumzup Media intends to change its corporate name to Datacentrex, Inc. following the planned close of its acquisition of Dogehash. The Company has also reserved the ticker symbol "DTCX" with Nasdaq in connection with the anticipated name and symbol change. "As reported in our recent Shareholder Update, we believe are well positioned with roughly $50 million in cash and the pending acquisition of Dogehash, to acquire additional cash flow positive technology businesses in high growth sectors of the technology field. This is the key to building a multi-billion business that rewards its investors," said Robert Steele, CEO. "We believe the Datacentrex brand aligns with the company's new focus on digital infrastructure, blockchain and data-center opportunities. I look forward to updating with upcoming developments."
Thumzup Investigates Incorporating Dogecoin into Its Application
Thumzup Media announced that it is actively exploring and developing the integration of Dogecoin, or DOGE, as an alternate payout mechanism for users of its Thumzup app. The Company believes this initiative could strengthen its rewards infrastructure, reduce payment friction, and support the expansion of its creator monetization model across broader geographies. Thumzup's platform currently enables users to earn cash rewards for sharing authentic content about advertisers' products.
Thumzup reveals partnership with TikTok for platform integration
Thumzup Media announced the official, full-feature integration of its platform with TikTok. This milestone significantly expands Thumzup's social media footprint, granting its advertisers seamless access to TikTok's expansive and highly engaged user base. This integration positions Thumzup as a transformative force in the global digital advertising space. This approval allowed the Company to connect TikTok to the Thumzup app.
Thumzup prolongs duration of share repurchase initiative
Thumzup Media announced that its Board of Directors has extended the window under which the broker-dealer executing the stock buyback may repurchase shares under the Company's newly authorized share buyback program from September 30 until October 31. As previously announced, the Company is authorized to repurchase up to $10M in common stock on the open market from time to time based on market conditions, cash reserves, cash flows and the balancing of uses of cash for operations, growth and other considerations as may be considered in the Company's sole discretion. As previously announced, Thumzup had completed its initial $1M share repurchase program in September 2025, repurchasing 212,432 shares of common stock at a weighted average price of $4.71 per share.
Thumzup extends a $2.5 million loan to DogeHash Technologies
Thumzup Media announced that it has provided DogeHash Technologies with a $2.5M loan. The funds are expected to expand DogeHash's Dogecoin mining capacity and accelerate deployment of its next-generation ASIC miners. The financing, which comes ahead of Thumzup's pending acquisition of DogeHash, is anticipated to support the acceleration of the growth of the fleet of miners with more than 500 new ASIC miners, which could bring the total rigs in operation to more than 4,000 later this year. Company executives said the move underscores Thumzup's broader strategic push into the cryptocurrency ecosystem and strengthens its position as a fast-scaling Dogecoin mining venture.
