Eyenovia announces rebranding, name change to Hyperion DeFi
Eyenovia is rebranding and changing its corporate name to Hyperion DeFi, Inc. Concurrent with the name change, the Company's shares will begin trading under the new ticker symbol "HYPD" on the Nasdaq Capital Market at the start of trading on July 3, 2025. The name change reflects the Company's recent launch of its cryptocurrency treasury reserve strategy focused on the HYPE token, which is native to the decentralized digital asset exchange and Layer-1 blockchain, Hyperliquid. As part of this announcement, Hyperion DeFi's co-branded validator 'Kinetiq x Hyperion' is officially live. The Company has started to stake its HYPE holdings to generate yield and further prepare for its onchain engagement strategies.

Eyenovia has acquired an additional 265,872 HYPE tokens, expanding its total holdings to 1,306,452 HYPE purchased at an average price of $34.83 per token.
Eyenovia announces co-branded validator with Kinetiq
Eyenovia announced a co-branded Hyperliquid validator with Kinetiq, a leading liquid staking protocol built natively for the Hyperliquid ecosystem. The validator marks a significant step in Eyenovia's onchain engagement strategy, utilizing its recent acquisition of 1,040,584.5 HYPE to contribute directly to network stability and security. Validator operations are further supported by infrastructure provided by Pier Two, an institutional staking services provider known for its high-performance hybrid cloud and bare metal infrastructure complete with both SOC 2 Type I and Type II certifications. "Our collaboration with Kinetiq and Pier Two marks a strategic step in realizing a shared vision for secure, composable, and deeply integrated liquid staking on Hyperliquid," said Hyunsu Jung, Chief Investment Officer of Eyenovia.
Eyenovia announces accumulation of over 1M HYPE tokens
Eyenovia announced the closing of its previously announced $50 million private placement with accredited investors. The PIPE Financing enabled the Company to acquire 1,040,584.5 HYPE at an average price of approximately $34 per token. As part of the strategy, the Company also intends to initiate its own network validator alongside an ecosystem partner, which will support the liveness of the Hyperliquid blockchain and lay the foundation for accessing HYPE staking yield. Chardan acted as the sole placement agent in connection with the transaction. Pending Board approval in the coming days, Eyenovia is expected to change its name and ticker to "Hyperion DeFi" and "HYPD," respectively. Development of the Optejet UFD continues to progress according to the Company's projected timelines, with verification and validation activities expected to commence next month. Eyenovia remains on track to register the device with the FDA in September of this year. The Company has initiated dialogue with several potential partners for licensure of the platform, initially focused on applications in OTC lens rewetting and artificial tears.
Eyenovia appoints strategic advisor for digital asset treasury strategy
Eyenovia announced several key developments in support of its digital asset capital strategy. Avenue Capital Group, now the Company's largest common stockholder, has agreed to amend Eyenovia's senior secured debt to further support the Company as it builds its HYPE treasury and reserve of the HYPE token. Pursuant to the terms of the amendment, the maturity date of the debt has been extended from November 1, 2025 to July 1, 2028 and its interest rate reduced from 12% to 8%. One half of the interest will be paid monthly in cash with the other half accrued and paid upon maturity. The Company will make interest-only payments during the initial 18 months of the extended term with equal principal and interest payments for the remaining 18 months. To support the Company's growing presence in the digital asset space, Eyenovia is also pleased to announce the appointment of Max Fiege as Strategic Advisor to support the HYPE Treasury strategy. He will support stakeholder education, ecosystem advocacy, treasury architecture, and risk oversight. Mr. Fiege currently serves as Principal at Merenti Capital GmbH, deploying proprietary capital across liquid and early-stage digital asset opportunities.
